Abbey Course At St. Leo University, The

This golf course is not in good shape at all. There is no consistent grass in the fairways, The tee boxes are fairly mangled, and it lacks water on the course. Now that we got all the bad things out of the way let me get to the good. The price is very reasonable, the staff is very friendly, the layout is very interesting and fun, and the greens aren't too bad. You need to understand when you arrive you are getting what you pay for with this course. It is a laid back place where you don't have a dress code, there isn't cart path only, no snobby people. If you aren't concerned about conditions it will be fun.

I played this for the first time with a friend. The staff was quite helpful and friendly. The course offered some challenges with directional carry, etc. The par 6 was interesting...

Another great day of golf at The Abbey Golf Course. Fairways a little dry but playable. Other than that a great day. Staff is friendly and helpful. Looking forward to playing there again. Two thumbs up.

We were genuinely excited to play this course and were thrilled at the Hot Deal! That excitement faded fast, however, as we learned that the only grass on the course was on the greens. All other parts of the course (aside from the trees) was weeds and dirt! This should not be on the Golf Now course rost. I am very disappointed that I used one of my earned Golf Now certificates on this course. We will most definitely never again play this 18!

the fairways are rough as are some tee boxes but the greens are excellent as is the staff. A guy named Tom treats us well each time we go there.

Decent shape ...very little fairway grass but you know what you're getting for the money ....but a lot better than last time

The course is a great layout. It’s the only course I have played on with a par 6, but they need to add some water stations and divot dirt boxes to help with when playing those long courses helping grounds crew protecting fairway. Other than that great course to play on for the price.

I played this course as a child and came back with my husband. So much fun! Tom was so very nice and it was such a good deal!

Played the Abbey today. Aside from 2 closed holes and some pooling here and there, this place seems to be in great shape despite the flooding. Had a blast and improved my game quite a bit.

For 10 bucks (9 holes, cart included), this place is hard to beat. I've paid several times that much for significantly worse conditions in the area.

The friendliness of the staff cannot be overstated. The food in the tavern looked and smelled good so be sure to arrive hungry.

Being that there was rain forecasted (but never came) we had the place pretty much to ourselves. The food in the tavern looked good and the staff in the shop were outstanding.

Fun course. Well worth the price. Even though it was crowded, we pretty much scooted around without delay. #10 is a Per 6 which is fun – never seen that before. If you have any talent at all (I don't) you can actually par this course. Looking forward to playing it again after we get some rains and the Abbey Colurse greens up. Play it!

The course was in bad shape with little or no grass and full of weeds on the fairways. The pace of plays were poor and single player not allow to play through.
