Coyote Springs Golf Club

Drove 90 minutes to Coyote Springs Golf Club for a booked tee time. On the phone when I reserved, nobody said I had to bring the original Father’s Day gift certificate my wife and son gave me. I showed the receipt. They refused it, said I needed the physical gift card, and tried to charge me for the tee time anyway. I left, grabbed my clubs, and drove 90 minutes home without hitting a shot. One look at the receipt and a little problem-solving would have kept a customer. They chose no. I won’t be back.

Course is in good shape, 1 green had a dead spot other than that it was great. The staff was terrific and the food after the round was terrific.

Great, fun, challenging track. Nice to find a course with a slope above 130 that doesn't require playing from the tips to get there. Even playing from the white tees, the slope was 139. Awesome. Greens were fantastic. They were also huge and undulating. Not many straight puts to be found. If you putting is off, this course will be frustrating. If you miss putts here, the fault is not the greens. The fairways were overall good with some areas (not marked) clearly under repair. But in the extreme heat we have had the last month, some browned areas are to be expected. I can't recall having a level lie when in the fairway. Probably by design. A few blind shots off the tee on the back nine. Easily one of the best practice facilities in the Las Vegas area. Be sure to allocate enough time before your round to fully enjoy it. Unlimited balls are included in green fees. Worth the drive to get here. This is my new #2 favorite course in the Las Vegas area. Staff was super friendly and helpful. First time playing here shot an 81. Should be able to cut that in half next time now that I know where NOT to hit.

Great layout and pro greens. Get in the wrong part of green and three or four putts is possible.

Got the lead on this course from an Instagram video (thank you Honey) and decided to add it to my plans during my recent trip to Vegas and it was so worth it. The fairways and greens were in very good shape and rewarded good shots consistently. The course is well routed and has a wonderful mix of risk and reward on every hole. The scenery was fantastic and I couldn’t help but to stop every few holes to take pictures. The groundskeeping team appeared to be deep into their preparations for fall overseeing, so there were a lot of areas near the cart path where the rough was pretty thin or dying (again, it is the middle of the desert) but not enough to impact play at all.

Prior reviews about the sparseness of the clubhouse /restaurant, but who cares. If you want to have a great golf experience that isn’t ridiculously expensive (I paid less than $50 for an 11:10 am Wed tee time on GolfNow) then this course should be on your schedule.

I am always amazed that most people I talk to know nothing about this wonderful facility. It's an amazing course, in great shape, challenging as could be and what I feel is a true bargain. The drive from Vegas is about 40 minutes but it's so easy and relaxing that it feels like I'm here in no time. Fairways are green and lush, greens fast and fun and there's nothing I would change except the number of players who refuse to fix their divots. It's really a 20 second fix but why do people just ignore this? If you're visiting Vegas and want a true experience playing desert golf without burnt out fairways and greens you must come play this course. Thank me later.

Everytime a go to Vegas and I have my clubs, I find my way to Coyote Springs. This course would probably be 350$ minimum in Vegas. Unfortunately the greens were spiked but the rest of course was awesome! I also had 36-45 m/h wind that didn't help but it was still a great outing!

The layout is outstanding. The approaches to the holes are beautifully framed. No surprises. Well hit shots are rewarded. Poorly hit shots will cause you problems. The but… is the bunkers are unkempt and the pace of play is horrid. The Marshall came by after our 5th hole at the 1.5hr mark and said “It’s going to be a long ‘night’”. It was 11:30 am!

We actually loved the course but would have to think twice before returning. The 5+ hr rounds would give us pause.

Great course worth the drive. It is very difficult, don’t be above the hole! 😉

An oasis in the middle of a desert. A Nicklaus gem!

The course was in great condition and beautiful surroundings make this course a must play while in the Vegas area. The course's defenses are the strategically placed bunkers in the fairways and around most of the greens. If you're fortunate enough to get on the green in regulation you will then face some of the most undulating greens you will find anywhere. Prepare to be humbled but it is still a great experience.

Course okay. Played much better while in Vegas area. Outside staff was friendly and helpful. Inside staff seemed like I was bothering them while thru were at work.

Came in after round, was never greeted or anything the person just sat in a chair and watched tv. Bought a hat and asked where the nearest gas station was. I was informed it was 30 miles away (I know, not his fault). But he generously offered to sell me gas at $10/gallon. I understand paying a premium and supply and demand. 2x the going rate is gouging. We made it back no problems but it seemed like a “we can screw you

On a Tuesday morning. Playing as a twosome. Waited on every shot as the group in front of us played a two man best ball while emptying the lakes of the balls in the water. No marshal until hole 17 and when I mentioned he just smiled at me and drove away.

Vegas or St George. Too bad this round was ruined by the pace of play

A diamond in the dessert!! The course was absolutely gorgeous! One of the best conditioned courses I have played on. The fairways are wide but the greens are fast!!!! Pace of play was fast. Worth the drive from Las Vegas to the course. I highly recommend.
