Coyote Springs Golf Club (previously known as Coyote Springs - The Chase Course) is located less than one hour from the Las Vegas Strip and just 45 minutes from Mesquite, Nevada. This Jack Nicklaus Signature Course is highly regarded as a must-play by Vegas golf aficionados. The course's stunning setting is sometimes referred to as "nature's cradle" since it's situated in a verdant valley completely surrounded by majestic mountains and peaks. While the scenery may be beautiful, don't let it distract you from the golf course's many challenges. Water and bunkers await you at almost every turn. One of the most memorable holes is the par-5 second, whose bunkers at the second landing area will force you to think carefully about how to approach the Augusta-like green. In addition to the golf course, Coyote Springs offers one of the largest practice facilities in the country. This 19-acre facility includes 13 target greens and a short game area for pitching, chipping, and bunker practice.

Pretty good but certain parts need attention

The greens are firm and undulated which requires serious shot making. Bring high spin ball for sucker pins. Fairway is wide so just avoid the bunkers otherwise rough is deep.

Condition from tee to green is generally good. But some bunkers do need more sands and 17th green has 100 unrepaired ball marks. I repaired 20 myself!

Great Layout

I Play allot of golf all over the world. This course has one of the best layouts; course conditions were great. Felt like we were the only group out there,

This course is 1 hour drive North of the Strip. Well worth the drive. Windy day close to the strip but calm at Coyote Springs.

MINT FAST greens

Probably the truest fastest greens currently in Vegas right now, running about 12-13 stimp, even faster than Paiute. You better bring your A short game or start using four letter words. Rest of the course in excellent shape as well but the greens are the star. Staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating for our group. Highly recommend.

Could be amazing

Nicklaus course that needs a bit of TLC. Fast greens and the most ridiculous pin placements for a public course. Some really pretty holes. Greens not rolled or maintained. Lots of debris.

Fairways have some patchy areas and lots of bird poop around.

Bunkers were raked and played ok. Some deep ones too that were really challenging.

Overall I’d go back but don’t expect a low round.

Great design and conditioning.

Course is in the middle of nowhere but definitely worth the drive. Unbeatable price on a “hot deal”.

Coyote springs

I loved the course. Greens are very challenging but fun. I want to play it without 25 mph winds.

Beautiful course - well maintained greens and fairways for the most part. However, GPS on the carts were not working on either cart we had, which for a challenging course, it would have been helpful to see the layouts for the various holes. Cart girl also could not accept card payments, due to connectivity issues. Our cart had dried bird poop all over the back of the seat - you'd expect that they would ensure the carts are clean and in proper working order, especially due to the cost of this course... outside of that, we had a great time.

Gorgeous!! Middle of nowhere..

This place is gorgeous and the surroundings are literally breathtaking..

The course is lacking a little TLC. Fairways are a bit hurt up as are the greens. Greens are fast and the course layout is not easy!

Staff were great and super nice to me (I rolled up as a single golfer). From bag drop, check in at pro.shop, to the starter, everyone was pleasant and professional.

I'd definitely give this course another try if I ever get back to Vegas..

Sad to see what could be a community being built, and at the course... It's like they were served with a stop work ORDER or something...

Most overpriced course ever

This is the most overpriced course I have played in 40-plus years. Very good layout, very tough, which is fine. But every green has thousands of bare spots and some have large patches of sanded dirt. For $50, it would be fine. For $175, it’s the biggest ripoff I have seen in a golf course. I know it’s winter, but when you pay a premium price, you expect premium conditions. This course fails that test miserably. There are many courses in the Vegas area that charge less and give you a far better experience.

Long drive but worth it!

Upon entering, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The girls in the pub were super friendly and the breakfast burrito was cooked to order and absolutely delicious! The pace of play was perfect! The course layout was challenging but not too difficult and the views we're amazing! I would definitely make the drive out there again to play and definitely get a breakfast burrito!

The golf course wasn't open that day, so I didn't play.
