Another fun, casual day at Harvey Penick
Greens were in good condition, which was unexpected based on previous rounds. Fairways were in good shape too. Not too busy, so it was a nice pace of play. Staff was friendly and helpful. Going back next weekend!
Good, beginner course. Easy layout, greens were in good shape for this course although pretty flat and not many breaks. I played by myself between two twosomes and pace was still quick.
Enjoyed playing this short course
Overall really enjoyed the course and will play it again. Positive experience with 2 exceptions. First time to play the course, so everything related to the soccer-related tees and holes threw me off. I'll have a better understanding next time. The other item was actually dangerous. I was almost hit by a number of range balls while on the green on the 9th hole. Some teenage boys were hitting cross range in my direction. It took me a minute or 2 to determine where the balls were coming from.
My wife & I love it here!
We have played once a week for the past 3 weeks and every time was just perfect. The people are great, the atmosphere is relaxed and the course is challenging enough but very playable. Unfortunately we are leaving Austin this weekend but will be returning in August. We will definitely be playing here again then.
Another great 9 holes.
We had a terrific time at the course today. It took us two hours to play the 9 holes in a very relaxed atmosphere. A foursome was very slow ahead of us & they let us play through making our game much more enjoyable.
Great course for a casual game of golf
My wife & I enjoy playing 9 holes in a relaxed atmosphere. We are not the greatest golfers nor are we very competitive. We are always trying to improve though & we appreciated having the time to try new things. We are visiting Austin from Canada & we will be back several times before we leave.
Course in Excellent Condition
I took lessons at this campus about 5 years ago, and the course conditions have changed considerably for the good. The fairways and greens were in excellent condition. I took my grandson and his friend for their first 9-hole game and it was a great experience for them and me. This is a great course if you are learning to play.
Cannot Beat Harvey Penick for the Price
This course was so good for the value. People at the desk are super nice. Fun lay out and nice greens. For the price, this place cannot be beat.

They've done a great job keeping this course in great condition. Greens are much better than most, if not all, public courses in Austin. Keep it up!

We played 11 holes. Course condition is much better than last year. Greens in good shape, but a bit slow. Nice practice range. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great value to walk for $15
