An almost excellent day.
Course was excellent, staff was excellent, weather was excellent. So what made it "An almost excellent day." My putting sucked!!
Putting aside, I really had a great time.
I can hardly wait to play another round.
Nice par 3 course
I’ve been playing golf for about a year. Thought I would check out Arroyo Seco It’s a rnice course. 10 minutes from DTLA good parking and it moves at a good pace.

It’s a beautiful part three course at the right level of challenge
Relaxed course
Nice course, well maintained. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Not many hazards, great for a relaxed day of golf. Pace of play was pretty steady.
Too wet!
Too much water everywhere and lots of bare spots in places. It used to be more consistent in terms of grass coverage and never this wet. Just soaked.
Nice 3 par
I would consider this my home course. I played at 11 and it was pretty empty, finished in less than 2 hours, but I’m sure the weekend is another story Condition are nice, but please fix your divots on the green. Every green had divots on them from careless golfers. I tried repairing as many as possible while on the green. Definitely worth the $12 I spent.
A true gem
Playing Arroyo Seco is a good test of your short game. With distances ranging between 150 and 80 yards, you will need to dial in shots to tight greens.
The greens were in immaculate condition, have some undulations, and actually broke when putting, which is unusual in some of the full-size courses locally.
It was great fun and a great test.
Definitely worth the money. I just miss the restaurant, it was always a great place to grab a burger.
