Arroyo Seco Golf Course

This par 3 course naturally draws a lot of beginners. But the policy of sending a new group off every 7.5 minutes can choke things t a crawl. We wont' be going back.

Haven't played hear since 1992 and it was exactly the same as I remembered. Most holes are around 100 yards +/- 10. Greens are not too sloped but enough to make it interesting. Driving range is decent and they have a very small chilling area. Only kinda down side is you hit off mats for your tee shot but they were in decent shape although it took me a couple holes to adjust.

How do you have a 20-30 minute back up on tee times when they are in 10 minute intervals? Greens suck and are dried out to the point it’s falling apart. There is zero etiquette at this course.

Starter in the morning just left everyone head out when they showed causing a traffic jam. Normally we finish 18 in 2.5 hrs, today it took 4.

Was great & fun. Is just busy & sometimes we rush our shots but overall is all good!

Perfect beginner course, short holes make it easy for beginners and helps with pace of play. Course is well kept and in great condition, great value for the price.

I really like being able to take beginner golfers out for 18 holes here.

You hit off mats and most people don’t repair their ball marks on the greens. And the greens are a bit slow and inconsistent for reads.

But a great low key hangout spot with a driving range. Come here with low expectations and you will leave happy. I’m a good way.
