About
Located along the shores of Choctawhatchee Bay, Shalimar Pointe Golf Club enjoys a scenic, rolling landscape dotted with trees. This often-overlooked golf course has been considered one of the Emerald Coast's best-kept secrets but the word is beginning to get out. The course, due to its challenging but playable nature, has been used for U.S. Open qualifiers and it was host to the Emerald Coast Tour. The layout features immaculately manicured greens that are framed by strategic bunkering and water hazards on a number of holes. The golf course is challenging but fair with five sets of tees to accommodate players of all skill levels. The course is Shalimar Pointe's main attraction but it is complemented by extensive practice facilities including an expansive driving range, putting green and chipping green.

great layout
fairways winter conditions and very tight. green very fast with many breaks fun to play but wait for spring grass to fill in the fairways
nasty day
Even the day was rainy and cold we enjoyed the round. Everyone we met at the course was great. Layout is interesting, and course conditions are very good for January. Will certainly return.
Winter golf in FL
Started out cold in the morning, was a slight delay due to frost on the greens. But it warmed up quickly in the low 60's. Greens are perfect and very fast. Great course to play.
Great Course
Was in town for Xmas. Great course set up, friendly staff. The greens were not immaculate on some holes, but they were challenging and I would 100% play here again!
Won't beak the bank.
Course was in ok shape for winter. Other course were in much better shape, but $80-120 a round. For the money the course is challenging. Worth the price.
Winter Golf in Florida
A beautiful 65 degree day of golf. The greens were very fast with the dormant growing season during the winter months here in the FL Panhandle. The fairways are beautiful as well. All in all, the course is in excellent condition.
Shalimar Pointe
Slick and undulating greens… and tough to hold (which is fun/difficult)… Had tough cut pins the day I played… tee to green was ok/fine… sand in the bunkers and they were raked… great and a tough track… pleasant surprise… well worth it…
