Cool Windy Day
Had a good time playing the Lakes to Palms. The conditions were good but semi-difficult with 20+ mph winds. We did have a 4 some slow things down till we moved past by losing a hole. The 4 some would not let us play through.

Good service! Course in good shape. Only down side cafe closed but we all have to do renovations.
Breezy & Cold
Course was in good shape though cold weather (40's) and wind (15-20 mph) made it a challenging experience.
Greens were in excellent shape and rolled true but were noticeably on the smaller side, i.e. tough to hit a green and have it stick from almost any location.
Great condition
Played the Oaks and Lakes today...very fair layout that was also friendly for my wife as well
Part of the courses defence is small Greens and they were in great shape. Would definitely return if back in the area.
Club house was closed for food and drinks
The course was actually pretty nice. There were some weeds etc. around the greens, all and all the greens were pretty nice. The clubhouse is totally closed down with no food or drinks which is pretty disappointing. Other than that it’s a pretty good value for the money.
Disappointed
The condition of the course and pace of play made for a disappointing day. We quit after 9 holes.

best course in terms of overall condition/ layout for the price that i've played in the st petes area so far 2020.
grassy fairways & tees and smooth smallish greens.
will keep this in the rotation for sure
Sunday Fun Day
My friends and I played Sandpiper on Sunday morning. We started by hitting some balls on the range and chipping and putting on easily accessible practice greens. There were no pace of play issues. The course was wide open. We played Lakes and Palms courses. The Lakes 9 was more difficult than Palms 9. Greens were small but in great shape. The course was not overly difficult but it was a lot of fun. The biggest disappointment was the restaurant Bunkers was closed. So there was no post round lunch. Apparently, the restaurant will be reopening soon. We will definitely play here again.

Tee boxes, fairways and bunkers in much better shape then last time I played. Made it a fun round

Course was in great shape. Pace was perfect and rangers were out checking. Perfect golf day.
Decent local course.
It is a decent course, small greens tough to land on sand traps everywhere. Overall course is starting to Need work
Great Value For Money
Played this course during a business trip down to Tampa. Would definitely play again. The price is great value. Course is challenging (for a player of my ability). Many sand and water traps. Greens were small which made it harder. Course was in good condition. Was pleased with my decision to play.

Really enjoyed the course. Hitting into the small greens made it a very challenging course.
Beautiful day
Really like this course, not crazy difficult, lots of sand and water. Not very busy and a pretty good price. People are nice too. Hope bunkers opens soon, miss the after golf beer and food. Greens fairly small course mostly flat, but most greens are elevated a little. And slot slightly back to front.
Beautiful Day in Sun City
Played in 3 hours... nice! Lots of sand traps! A perfect Florida Saturday... sunny with a nice breeze. Interesting course with lots of water. We enjoyed it, but were disappointed that the bar and grill were closed. TA
Playable
Hit the ball straight and you’ll have no problems. The greens had been aerated and were very sandy which made putting difficult.
