Sandpiper Golf Club - Oaks/Lakes Course

Course is in decent shape. Played Oaks then Lakes. Finished in 4 hours 15 minutes. Fairways were good, greens on Oaks were a bit slow, rolled true, with very few bare spots. Greens on Lakes rolled better and fairways were a bit better, (really very good,) traps were not raked in most spots. No complaints for the price.

Great day out with my boys, but wish we had gone to play another course. It is our annual Christmas Golf Outing, and we try to play some different courses each year. This year, we tried Sandpiper Golf Club, and were disappointed. The course needs a LOT better irrigation, as the rains of late made it a very soggy, hard to play, day. The ones at work, today, didn't seem very friendly, at all.

Nice course, always well kept. Small greens make the second shot a little challenging but very nice greens. Should definately be able to score well on this course after a few rounds as it gives you fun oppertunities. The starters actually pay attention and strategically send groups out preventing slow play. For the price, and pace of play, this course is worth a try.

Really enjoyed my day at the Sandpiper. The layout is challenging and the staff is great. Nice 19th hole after your round.

Course layout is easy to challenging. Greens in good shape. Fairways could use a little tighter mow but fair to good. Price extremely good deal.

For someone new to th course or who has not play d very often, finding holes is sometimes confusing. The course needs more markers directing players to holes.

Inexpensive round of golf, but it was worth even less than the 30$ they charged. I only played there because I had the afternoon off and I wanted to work on something in my game. For the life of me I don’t know why courses like this even exist. Dirt everywhere. Tee boxes, fairways, sand traps. Staff was indifferent. But what do you expect. It’s a prime example of 18 holes of golf built on 14 holes of land. I’ve played many golf courses that cost $30 and they are able to maintain some standards. This course has none.

I enjoyed the course. Unfortunately, my tee time was reserved through Golf Now for 3 golfers. When I checked in and payed at the club house only myself and Kevin had showed up. Jim my third golfer was a no show no call. Very unlike him. I explained the situation to the starter/cashier. The response was " no problem, enjoy your game i hope everything is ok with Jim. One week later i got a 40.00 dollar charge on my CC for the no show. call the course and Golf Now. basically got an "OH WELL " from both. I am CX my Golf Now membership and Sandpiper is permanently of the rotation. What a shame! Disappointed, Randall Davis
