Wish the greens were better
I had high hopes for this course. I started keeping up with them on Facebook and noticed that all of their photos in their galleries were pretty intriguing. We started playing and were surprised to see that all the greens were as brown as a paper bag. Staff at the pro shop didn't mention this to us and didn't offer any sort of a discount. Not as aesthetically pleasing as I would have liked, but the course was still fun. Wish we would have gotten a heads up about the greens, though.
One of the best courses in the area
Bradshaw Farm is an amazing course. Great bunkers with plenty of sand. Large greens but many undulations. Could be 30 yards (2 clubs) between front and back pin placement. Pay attention to placement. Also, great putting track, everything rolls true.
Good variety of holes. Most are challenging. Slow play due to course allowing a 5some to play. I believe there was some match involving a 4some.
Course is in the best condition that I've seen in years. I would enjoy it more if the Marshals pushed the players along and kept 5somes out of the mix. Also it would help if they pushed high handicappers up to the forward tee boxes. Hackers don't belong on the regular tee boxes.
Suggest posting signs that remind players that a Triple Bogey is the max score... pick it up!
Absolutely Great Course!!!
Golf at Bradshaw Farms is fantastic! Course is in immaculate condition. Fast greens all the way through, fairways to putting greens. Only negative if you want to call it that is the course difficulty. Majority of holes are straightaways with moderate obstructions (trash, sand pits, etc.). Other than that, great course with great prices during the week, weekends you coming off some cash to play ($60 or better)!!!
The NEW Golf Club at Bradshaw Farm
Bradshaw Farm (once referred to as Bradshaw Pig Farm) is that no more. New Champion Bermuda greens have totally revitalized this track!
Very Good Condition, Fairways and Greens
Greens were consistent and fast. Fairways excellent. Too bad I couldn't hit many of either.
Too many singles.
Enjoyed the course but maybe because it was Monday there were too many singles. In some cases there were 2 singles playing one behind the other.
New greens from last time I played there, pretty quick.
Course in good condition. Greens rolling about 10-10.5. Approach shot important as to where flag is located.
Well maintained
Very enjoyable course to play. The course is well maintained.
Beautiful Course
Course was in perfect shape, tee boxes, fairways, and greens especially. Played on a Sat afternoon and hardly anyone was around. Absolutely loved the course.
Blue 9 is in great shape!
I play here a lot, and have always avoided playing the BLUE 9 because it had Bent Grass greens. Just played yesterday on the NEW Bermuda greens. What a difference! I think I'll have to play 27 each visit to Bradshaw Farms from now on!
Even further I noticed last night on my receipt that they give you a free nine holes on the blue side for next time. Way to go Bradshaw!
Challenging but forgiving.
Tried this course for the first time and loved it. Took my father in law out with me as a present and all he can talk about is when we are going back. The greens were fast but consistent. Well worth our hour drive to get there.
Must Try
I was visiting Atlanta and browsed golfnow for courses near by. I read the reviews and gave this course a try and it didn't disappoint me. The course is well maintained and has great views of the mountains. The club house was open early for a breakfast sandwich and the staff very friendly. I played the gold tees and it was challenging. Stay away from the rough around the green to avoid losing the ball. A must try if you are in the neighbourhood.
Always look forward to it
It's not the closest course to me, but well worth the extra 10 minutes in the car. There are 3 9hole courses which allow them to maintaine nicely. They run really great deals too. So, it's a no brainier for a thrifty golfer like me.
decent.
Bunkers in really bad shape. was hot an sunny but course gathers water still in some areas. there were literally 4 marshalls working that drove by every second.. quite annoying. everything was fine
In fair shape, but slow play on an uncrowded Sunday
I've played this course a few times in the last couple of months. The fairways and greens are in pretty good shape -- some pockets where water settles and does not drain well. The bunkers are horrendous -- a little bit of rain and they turn into mud pits. Then when the sun dries them out, you end up hitting off of hardscrabble.
On the Sunday morning I played, the round took about five hours even though it was not crowded at all. I went out as a single and when the twosome behind me caught up on #2, we played as a threesome. We waited on every shot as did the group in front of us.
They don't have marshals going around to try to maintain pace of play, and that's my biggest complaint about this course.
Very good experience
The course is in very good condition. The staff is very friendly and efficient. We played in about 4 hours and 20 minutes which is pretty good for a Saturday. The Red course is pretty difficult - very unforgiving for a bad shot. The White course (back 9) is more wide open and a bit easier.
Beautiful vises
First time playing the course. I was the first one out and was able to finish in under 3 hrs. The course is in great shape and there are some awesome views.
Easy to book and received a great rate
There are three 9 hole sections of the course. I played the Red and White.
Fast Greens, good shape
The greens were very fast and the course was in good shape. They were 10-15 minutes behind on tee times but the pace of play was fine. A good value
