good combitation, flat blue course/hilly red course.
Nice old course with fast green.
Some green is spotty but relatively well maintained fast green.
Blue course is Florida type flat course different with hilly Atlanta course.
We had a good time.
Beautifully designed and kept.
This is one of the best courses overall in the N. Atl area. Challenging yet fair. With three sets of nine holes there is enough variety in holes to satisfy everyone.
Good Course -
We are mid/high handicappers and it was the first time we played here. We played the Red and White courses. Both courses were in good shape and presented various challenges, particularly the hills and side hill lies. The only issue was the pace of play as we finished in just under 5 hours and at one point had 4 groups on a hole. Also, we hitt off mats on the driving range.
We booked through Golfnow and also were able to get lunch included which was a fantastic deal. The staff members were all friendly and professional. Overall an enjoyable day and we enjoyed the course.
Fun,friendly and nice area!
I want to give extra good marks for the guys at Bradshaw Farms...I made a mistake and booked Wed by mistake...when we got there on Tuesday they were able to make it work out!!! Thats customer service! I won't forget the extra effort!!! Great Job men!!!
Great day of golf!
Played Bradshaw Farms Red and White nines yesterday. The course was in great shape as the fairways, tee boxes and greens are all greening up. The staff (starter, marshals, cart girls, and inside staff) were all friendly. The only slight negative is that the greens were a little "bumpy" which was a bit surprising as I know the new greens were put in less than a year ago however this could just be due to the still early season conditions. Overall the course was in great shape and my foursome had a blast.
Average
Greens were certainly the best feature. They were reasonably true and rolled a 9 plus. Fairways were not clean and bunkers were deplorable. All in all very average.
Great course
I have played Bradshaw Farms several time and have always found it to be a good value. The course is picturesque and fairly challenging. The greens were a bit fast due to it being early in the season.
Normal rate is "fair" - I got a very good rate using GolfNow and that is why I ratedthe cost as excellent.
Course was in good condition considering all the rain in the past month. Normal 18-hole rate is "fair" - I got a very good rate as a single using GolfNow and that is why I rated cost as excellent.
Don't play if it's wet
I played this course in March, course conditions were winter, they do not overseed so in the winter be prepared for dormant grass. Also they had many holes (the entire 'blue' course) cart path only. Many holes on this course are very difficult to play with a cart and "cart path only" rules, so I would check ahead to see if they have any restrictions. I'm not talking about distance to walk; more like elevation to descend and climb. A middle of the fairway result could leave you with a 30 foot elevation change from the cart path. Otherwise I found the course interesting to play as a first time visitor, a real challenge to figure out where to hit the tee shot or second on a par 5. On the blue course a par 5 leaves you in the fairway wondering where the second shot goes, a house straight ahead has a practice green with a flag, you can see a second green to the right through a cut in the trees with fairway, of course after much evaluation the shot goes right to that green with the fairway and no tee. The drawing on the card is not very clear unless you have very good eyesight. I would not rate it a "Top 10" but I haven't seen it in season, the range was mediocre at best old balls, mats, no class to it at all. Staff seemed uncaring, not rude but disinterested.
Wet day...early bird special $29
Was super wet after a storm....started out double, double, triple,, and thought I was done for. Then I had 4 birdies and a par to finish. Most birds in a round!
I still beat Pete!
Wonderful design, greens, and staff. Plays slow at times. Players need to sand their divots.
Wonderful design, greens, and staff. Plays slow at times. Players need to sand their divots. Red and White are the championship layout. Blue not as interesting but a few of it's holes have character.
Because of recent rains, the course was cart path only which is understandable due to sogginess in a number of areas. Very enjoyable none the less.
Very nice lay out and variety of holes. The experience was very good for me!
Overall great conditions and perfect greens on the Red/White nines.
Played on Tuesday 1/29 partly sunny and 68 degrees. Quite a large number of golfers were enjoying the day so the pace was a little slow (4.5 hours) and the tee times were running behind about 15 minutes. The Red and White nines offer a wide variety of holes and some pretty scenery. The new Champion Bermuda greens on the Red and White nines are awesome (same grass as East Lake). Bradshaw has always been known for their fast Bentgrass greens, with my only complaint being all the unrepaired ball marks from the lazy golfers (same ones that do not rake their footprints). The new Bermuda greens should eliminate the worst of the ball mark problems. When you can find your ball mark it is very simple to repair back to perfect condition. All greens were fast and true. They took the expense to paint the greens and that is a nice touch for winter. The fairways were dormant but not bad for winter conditions. The few bunkers I was in all had plenty of sand and rakes nearby. My understanding is the Blue nine still has Bentgrass greens and will be changed over to Bermuda sometime this year.
Course is in great shape and the new greens are very true.
We played on a beautiful 70 degree day in January, which meant the course was crowded and a little slow. Conditions are great and the course is a good test at all skill levels. You'll enjoy it.
Nice Course
Very nice course and staff was very friendly. There are three 9 hole courses so you get good variety to pick from. I played white and blue course, both were good condition and fun to play.
Great condition for the winter.
The course was great as usual, staffs were friendly, and just great for the price, cuz I booked via the Golfnow Hotdeal...
Good course
The course was good and well maintained and challenging. Pretty windy and the staff was great.
Can't beat the price for such a nice course!
For it being this time of year the greens were in great shape! The fairways were ok... the normal wear and tear for winter time I guess. We played the Red to White course and would definitely recommend it, especially in warmer weather. Had a great time.
Red To White Is The Best
We like playing Bradshaw. The Red to White coure rotation is the best. The greens always seem to be rolling fast, we like that. The only down side for us is that we all think Bradshaw is over-priced. We found a discounted rate, but their normal weekend rate of $65 is just to high for that golf course, especially when there are so many other courses that are just as close with fees a lot less. We love playing the course and you will too, IF you can get a discounted rate.
Good track but....
I signed up for blue-red and when we got to the course they said we could not play blue because it was full. The guy behind the counter cared more about getting back to his cigarette than making us happy. Also the grill at 12:30 on a saturday was understaffed and totally unprepared. The grill was not even turned on with 20+ people waiting. The starters are super friendly and the course was in good shape. Bathrooms on course were the cleanest I have ever seen.
