Great course
My favorite course to play within 60 miles of Raleigh. Course couldn't be in better condition. Impossible to get a bad lie in the fairways. Lots and lots of traps. Need to bring your "A".
Outstanding course
What a gem from impeccable conditions (practice area and practice green to tee boxes, fairways and greens). If I lived closer I'd join here immediately. I live 1 2/2 hours away and always worth the drive. Challenging enough but playable. Fairways fairly generous but hazards very strategically placed so straight helps. Easily one of the best maintained courses in NC.
amazing
Played the black tees and got our moneys worth! Very nice course and challenging. The greens had just been aerated yet were still far better than most.
Windy Fourth of July
The course is in great shape. Greens outstanding!
18 holes played in less than three 1/2 hours.
amazing course
This course is a hidden Gem in the middle of nowhere. I've played $250 courses that can't even compare to this.
One of the BEST courses in NC
Just a top notch track. If you can stay out of the fairway bunkers its a course that can be had. Some short par 4s and some that are on steroids. Greens rolled true but not as quick as past rounds.
Great Stay and Play Outing
Cutter Creek is approx. 2 hrs. from Durham, but the course is not close to places to stay and eat. Although worth the drive, it is great that they now offer a Stay and Play package. Great deal with golf cart waiting in garage!
Excellent course
Course was in great shape. Grass is still dormant, but still in great shape!!
Great course
This is a great course with challenging shots. When the wind picks up it will add another level of difficulty. The staff was great and made it worth coming back when I'm in the area.
Great layout - very challanging
It was a bit windy but I'd say it's always windy there. Really enjoyed the course - some long par 4's from the "brown tees" but no one said this game is easy. Going back soon.
A REAL "GEM"!!!!
Snow on ground in Richmond Va....Head Pro @ The Club at Viniterra told one of our group that this course would be well worth the ride...This course is absolutely one of the best in the entire Mid-Atlantic region...The staff, other players could not have been more friendly or accommodating...To find a course in this excellent condition in February is almost impossible. Exclusive country clubs included....We paid a "little" extra and played 27 holes...There is no question that we will be back...
Best course I play
Great round of golf - bunkers are very challenging - greens are very undulating - it is a championship course in all respects. Staff is very friendly - overall setting is great!
the course was in great shape
really well maintained especially considering the weather conditions that we are having now this time of year. The layout late provides challenges for golfers of all skill levels .
Cutter Creek Is A Great Golf Course
This was a really great course. Great open layout and nice greens. This was my first time playing it and I will definitely be back. The only reason I didn't give an excellent for course conditions was because it was winter. I can only imagine it is perfect when the weather is good!
Don't miss this one!
This is probably the best course in the area by far. Awesome layout, awesome condition and not overly crowded. Pace of play is pretty fast, finished in about 3 1/2 hours. Cant say enough good things about the course and staff. This is a don't miss golf course in Eastern NC.
Great Course
Very well kept course. One of the best in the area!
Great Value & Worth the Drive
What a great golfing experience. Played the course twice now and both times felt like I had the course to myself. Challenging layout with well placed bunkers and hazards that come into play. Conditions were good the 1st time I played and excellent the second time around. Highly recommend making the drive from Triangle Area to take advantage of such a great deal.
Only complaint would be the golf shop staff. Not very accommodating. Not sure if they are bored considering how few people are at the course but seemed somewhat inadequate in the customer service department.
Challenge worth facing
If your bunker play is suspect, you'd better fine tune before visiting this challenging and fun spectacle. Smart play will allow the average low handicapper to leave with their head held high. Lightning fast greens that check up and bite on the right type of approach/pitch. Everything is top notch: bunkers, greens, fairways, fringes, first cut, etc...I consider this course as true test to anyone's game. Loved it!
