Dog track but good value
This course is in bad shape. Greens were ok but overall it is badly needing some TLC. I’m a high handicapper that isn’t too picky so it worked but if you’re at all concerned with conditions then don’t play here. I played for $20 on a weekday and it was worth about that. I wouldn’t pay more.
Overpriced
I play this course quite often as it is close to home. The fairways are in better shape than recent years and progress is being made slowly to make them better. The bunkers are awful. More mud and rocks than sand. This course used to have some of the best greens in the area but not anymore. Course is 10-15 bucks more than it should be but I guess as long as we’re all willing to pay what they’re asking, I don’t see the prices going down. The staff is hit or miss. There’s one guy that works here who has the personality of a stick.

Nice layout--ZERO maintenance
I don't know if this was once a course that was in good shape or if it's always been like this. Either way, it's a warzone which is too bad because under all the disrepair it's actually a pretty lively layout. See other reviews for details regarding the brick hard fairways, funky greens, and general state of awful that is the course condition. I know it's early in the year but it's far and away the worst course in the area as far as playability. Don't know if a week or so of rain would help any. I just joined the FSC and decided to see what it was like but there's no reason to bother with a place like this when I can be playing Eagle Ridge or Riverwood. I hope the development in the area prompts improvements because this could be a course well worth playing with some upkeep and care.

Great course
I love the layout. It has a lot of long par 5s. The course is somewhat challenging. The pace of play was excellent.

Good Bones but needs some work
I’m just getting back into the game. Before this weekend, I’d played a couple of other places locally. The condition of this course was unfortunately the worst. Granted, it had rained Saturday, so I expected it to be playing a little soft, but there were places in the fairway that were just completely unplayable. Not to mention, the group with an 11:00 A tee time walked right up on my tee time and just teed off. Bunkers are fill dirt and will wreck your clubs. Greens are not in the best of shape. I paid for 18 holes but left after 9, because the group that also took my tee time, was just being impossible to deal with. Pace of play was bad. There was a group lined up when we made the turn, just standing and waiting for carts. I think the guy that was in the clubhouse was really nice and genuinely wanted us to enjoy the course. I just think the general condition of the course and the patrons that were being disrespectful really made for a tough outing. I hope they can do something with this, because the layout is fun. But my biggest suggestion would be just make sure your patrons are respectful of one another.

After 8 years, still NO improvements. I’m DONE
Moved into Olde Liberty in 2013 and own a home on the course and had hoped that Fred Smith would invest in the course that he had just added to his other courses. Now after 8 years of playing it and waiting for at least some kind of improvement to the fairways, etc ... nothing! The course design is great and could be one of the best courses in the area with some investment but as it continues to go down hill, I can not afford to play a course with fairways as hard as concrete and rocks chipping my irons and ruining them. My last time playing here was last week. Very disappointed.

It’s a waste
It’s a waste of a great track to not put money into it. Fairways are like going 4 wheeling and the bunkers have fill dirt with rocks the can nick a club head The greens have poa annua popping up and they won’t roll straight Please please make the needed improvements

It’s getting better
It’s getting better. They’ve put some work in but the bunkers are mostly terrible. There are Finn cycle rentals, which is awesome
