Needs to be sold or closed...
Just might be biggest waste of a championship layout there is. Right now course is basically unplayable ....Zero grass greens are terrible.
Counter guys should not be in a service position.
I have played here 1-2 times a week. Even though the course is a great layout and the greens can be good, the course is a good value for practice. Layout is challenging. Counter staff is a disaster with no personality. He should not be in a service position.
Great course for beginners and great value
Everything was great. Enjoy the afternoon tee time and playing with my wife driving the golf cart. So happy I founds this course and it will become my home course going forward. Thanks to the amazing staff

Great course layout and overall great value for the price. Would love to see sand in the bunkers and better snacks in the clubhouse.

Great course, needs some refurbishing.
I love the layout of this course, every hole is unique and fairly wide open. The grass is mostly just clay on the outskirts and it tends to be super hard and bouncy. The bunkers are not playable. The pro shop has limited drinks and snacks. Overall this course is a good value but it has potential to be great

The course is in really good condition.
Had a great round. Wide open. Hole layout is good. Edges need to grow in a little more. Greens are sweet. Great course.

Same Old Olde Lib
Greens were great but very slow. No sand in traps (play as GUR). Layout is great, roll the ball in the fairway.....
If you know what you're getting into, you"ll have a good time....wouldn't pay over $25 to play there.

Great layout, slowly improving conditions. Course is finally getting maintenance attention in bunkers and fairways. Rough is thick, very easy to lose balls if not hitting it well. Overall fun place to play.

Keeps getting worse
Where do i start oh i know the clubhouse and checkin. The guy at counter try to charge me even though i paid in full on Golf Now. Which he then complained about. After producing my email confirmation he reluctantly checked me in. I arrived 30 minutes before my scheduled time. I like to warm up. But he wasnt have it. He stated that i needed to head straight to the first tee to play with a twosome who had already teed off. Why? Because the threesome at my scheduled time brought a fourth lol lol. So much for customer service..Now on to the cow pasture. What an absolute disaster. The whole course is crabgrass. The greens were not cut for days and were soooooo slow.... bare spots everywhere. Its a shame great layout but conditions are borderline unplayable.... wont be back sad to say

Needs major attention..
I was told that this place is a hidden gem and after playing all 18 holes they were right. This place should stay hidden and well off the radar. The staff was easy to work with and overall very pleasant but the course conditions are quite awful. Expect to tee off out of the sand, unusable bunkers, little to no flat/even lies, slow/overgrown greens and rocks and dirt in the fairway. I’m shocked they actually charge people to play here when they are walking. I would recommend paying a little extra at a better course because your experience will actually be enjoyable.

Grass in Fairways
Been playing Olde Lib since it opened in 2009.
There is actually some grass in the fairways, sand traps are still GUI, greens were still recovering from aeration so bumpy and slow.
Great layout, "playable" condition....$25 max to play. Riverwood and Hedingham are way better to play. Take the reviews from early July with a very large grain of salt!!!!

Great Course
I play daily. I belong to the club with the Platinum Membershi which gives me the opportunity to play all day, every day. The course is challenging and a good value. I recommend this course.

I'd play again
Playing Old Liberty was truly fun. Hadn't been to a course this good in quite some time. The holes were challenging but not impossible to maneuver. In general, the course was kept in great shape. The greens were well manicured. Best I have seen in awhile. The back nine needs a little work on the sides of the fairways, to the sides but away from some of the holes, and parts of the cart paths where there is red clay. Nonetheless, I've seen this before on other courses in the area that were not as in good of condition. I would recommend this course for its value. I'll play it agin.
