Deserves a second shot
This course could be a lot of fun. The staff in the club house was very friendly, excellent service.
We booked an 11:30 tee time and there were 2 other groups that said they had an 11:30 tee time. This greatly slowed the pace of play 2 hrs for a two top playing best ball. Multiple groups had a cart per golfer. Instead of doubling up, the accountability for pace of play was frustrating. We golfed on a three tops heels while a four top golfed on top of our duo. This made for a frustrating very slow round.
Would definitely play this course again, if the scheduling mishaps are common this is not a course I would recommend.

Going downhill
Poor management. Had 12:50 tee time. Arrived at 12:30, found the clubhouse locked. Had to wait until 12:45 to enter clubhouse, paid and was told I was good to go by Mr. Personality, the clubhouse (trailer) attendant, but later found out there were no carts available. The choice was to walk or wait for a cart to be returned. Chose to wait and finally tee’d off around 1:30. Pace of play is horrendous. Too many golfers playing from the wrong tees and taking too much time each hole searching for lost balls and lining up 30 foot putts like they were Tiger Woods on a Sunday at Augusta. Course is in dire need of starter and marshalls on busy days and weekends. Too many singles sent out alone, causing the cart shortage issue.
Playing conditions were so, so. Tee boxes OK, greens very good. Bunkers are some of the worst I’ve ever played, lots of rocks. Fairways could use some work. Myself and others who live on Olde Liberty now refer to it as the red headed step child of Fred Smith. His other courses are in much better condition.

pleasantly surprised
The Good:
Greens were in great shape.
Great course layout.
Great views.
Great deal for Sunday morning tee time.
The Bad:
Lots of bare spots in fairway and around greens
Overall good value for the money.
Very playable conditions, fun holes and nice views.

Still Disappointing
It is so disappointing that they cannot get this course in good shape. There hasn’t been sand in the bunkers for years and the fairway is like riding a roller coaster full of rocks. The rough is mostly just cut down weeds. I wish they could get an influx of money somehow get this nice layout up to par with other courses in the area. I keep hoping that they’ve done something so I’ll take a GolfNow hoping for different results.

Terrible condition
Every shot you have to move off clay/dirt. Fairways are terrible, wish someone would take care of this course. Greens decent and could be an amazing course if maintained.

Same old, same old. They’ll never fix the place. Can only play there when my back is in A1 shape. Anything less, and i’m using a cane for a week. The saddest thing is that, other than the “bunkers”, the bone-jarring holes/gullies/canyons in and along the fairways could be fixed CHEAPLY, but they (he) just don’t care - about the course or the golfing customers.

Needs better management
This was my first time playing here, and most likely the last. I found that this course is not very well kept and the grounds crew has a lot of work to do before I'd be willing to come back to play. There were areas where the grass is washed out with exposed clay on either side of the fairways. There was standing water in the bunkers, some so bad that if I had hit my ball into it, I probably wouldn't have attempted to get it out. There are fire ants all over the fairways and greens. The whitecap mushrooms everywhere made it challenging to find balls in the fairway. I also found the course to be lacking signage. Heading down to the first tee, the cart path splits 3 ways and it was a 'choose your own adventure' trying to find the right way to go. Same thing on the 10th tee. We ended up at the 12th tee. A few signs pointing the right direction would be extremely helpful. This course has a ton of potential but is clearly mismanaged and in this condition, not worth the price of admission.

Worst course I’ve played in years…
Embarrassing. The bunkers are full of water, the fairways are covered in white cap mushrooms ( I lost three balls in the middle of the fairway not being able to find my ball in the sea of mushrooms), the gentleman working there was a bit worse than a gas station attendant. First time, last time.

Decent course
I played today with my hockey buddy, wife, and 6 year old. We range from a 10 handicap to brand new golfer. We had a fun time.
First the positives.
Good range, putting green.
Greens were in great shape! Kinda surprisingly great shape.
The course layout is great. Challenging holes, but not sadistic.
The areas for improvement:
Fairways were pretty rough - especially on hole 11. The right side of the fairway was unplayable.
Tee boxes were also fairly rough but I use a tee for all holes so it doesn’t really affect my play too much.
Bunkers were unplayable. Cement.

It could use work but……..
The fairways are like hitting on mars, Thea cause well hit ballls on a good line to often take unfriendly bounces, greens were large and fast. Course lay out is awesome must have a cart long distances from greens to next tee box. Overall played with another golfer who is starting to get back into it so price was fair.

Rough shape, but has potential
The course wasn’t in the best shape. The fairways were poor and the bunkers were almost unplayable. The greens were surprisingly in good shape, and pace of play wasn’t bad.
