Stay away
This quite possibly was the worse course I’ve ever played. Between the Sahara desert fairways and beetle bugs on flag pols/holes, we left after 12 holes. Definitely not worth the money I payed for playing.
Needs Major Improvements.
The fairways lack grass, but plenty of rutted mud. Most of the time you need to move your ball to maybe find a patch of grass to hit from. Greens were in good shape.

Getting better...
I have played 4x at Olde Liberty and can honestly say every time is a better experience. Course still needs attention, but you can't beat the experience for the price.

Red neck golf course tries to go up scale.
This is what happens when you are told there isn’t enough water supply to sustain a course and you build one anyway. You’ll want to make a drop rule for red clay. Counter guy should be replaced. A tip bucket and sign in sheet would do a better job.

Love the layout!
The course layout is very fun. It just desperately needs some TLC...obviously that requires funding. They seem to be stuck in a place where they need funding but they cant really charge a premium price to generate more revenue, so its tough to re-invest, and a re-investment would allow them to charge a premium price. That's what you call a vicious circle. I would play again just to help support them.

Rough condition even for off season
Staff was great overall. Course is in really rough condition. I’m familiar with off season winter conditions but this course is falling apart. Most all of the bunkers were ponds, some even with grass and sapling pines growing in them. Mud, ruts and wash out all over the rough and some fairways. The greens were in good shape for winter and somewhat consistent.
Staff was great and even held onto our range finders that we left on our cart by accident.

Deserves a second shot
This course could be a lot of fun. The staff in the club house was very friendly, excellent service.
We booked an 11:30 tee time and there were 2 other groups that said they had an 11:30 tee time. This greatly slowed the pace of play 2 hrs for a two top playing best ball. Multiple groups had a cart per golfer. Instead of doubling up, the accountability for pace of play was frustrating. We golfed on a three tops heels while a four top golfed on top of our duo. This made for a frustrating very slow round.
Would definitely play this course again, if the scheduling mishaps are common this is not a course I would recommend.

Going downhill
Poor management. Had 12:50 tee time. Arrived at 12:30, found the clubhouse locked. Had to wait until 12:45 to enter clubhouse, paid and was told I was good to go by Mr. Personality, the clubhouse (trailer) attendant, but later found out there were no carts available. The choice was to walk or wait for a cart to be returned. Chose to wait and finally tee’d off around 1:30. Pace of play is horrendous. Too many golfers playing from the wrong tees and taking too much time each hole searching for lost balls and lining up 30 foot putts like they were Tiger Woods on a Sunday at Augusta. Course is in dire need of starter and marshalls on busy days and weekends. Too many singles sent out alone, causing the cart shortage issue.
Playing conditions were so, so. Tee boxes OK, greens very good. Bunkers are some of the worst I’ve ever played, lots of rocks. Fairways could use some work. Myself and others who live on Olde Liberty now refer to it as the red headed step child of Fred Smith. His other courses are in much better condition.

The Good:
Greens were in great shape.
Great course layout.
Great views.
Great deal for Sunday morning tee time.
The Bad:
Lots of bare spots in fairway and around greens
Overall good value for the money.
Very playable conditions, fun holes and nice views.
