Difficult to see shots
All is well until you hit a blind tee shot, which is most of the holes. Most trouble is right at the average distance off the tee, about 220-240 yards forcing many layups off the tee. But only if you knew any better. You don't find out until you get there and say to yourself, whoops. All in all a very nice course, nice people and the greens are well manicured, though a little hilly for my taste. Arnie would love them.

This was a beautiful course to play., Especially given it is early in the year. It was my 1st time playing here and the course layout was excellent, The greens were fast and the fairways were decent for the time of year. T boxes were large and well marked.
Pace of play on the front 9 was very good however however it got really slow on the back 9 due to a group of 5 that were 2 holes in front of us. They had several groups groups held up. Us and the group in front of us were waiting on the 5 some on every tea Box on the background. This spoiled what would have been otherwise a fantastic day.. This complaint had been lobbied in many reviews previous to mine. Not sure how they allowed a team of 5 to backup a whole course.

Offer a course guide
Of course I got there a few minutes late due to the get directions portion of app sending me somewhere else. To have been offered a course guide or yardage book would have been nice. I would have gladly paid for one. It was necessary since playing alone first time at course. Shot 82. Balls disappeared on some holes perfect shots but not knowing you cant hit driver there is local knowledge and it was just blind luck with some of the layout. Maybe better if ever played again. But was on a short trip. One round and out of town. But offer a yardage book. We sometimes don’t know the scorecard is basic and the signs don’t show creeks

Not green yet
Course has a solid layout. I’ve played many times. Pace of play was the biggest issue. Has been for a couple years.
We’ve had some odd weather to start the year, so I can’t blame them for the course not being in the best shape, but the greens were smooth and pretty quick.

Tee boxes and greens in need of repair. Lots of muddy areas because of drainage issues.

No refunds
Had a family emergency and tried to cancel my tee time 2 days in advance. I was denied and charged for my round. I hear it is a decent course. But this is unacceptable..

Good Layout, OK Conditions
I had not played this course in almost 20 years and enjoyed it.
Other than a few tricked up holes (specifically # 10) this course has a nice layout….even with 6 Par 3s spread out over a wide range of distances.
Considering the amount of rain we had late last week, the course was not as wet as I expected. The low-lying areas were still muddy, but higher ground and the greens were in very good condition for late-winter.
Most of the greens were in pretty good shape…a few were a little bumpy.
It seems like there are some opportunities for better drainage and turf management, but I will come back later in the spring/summer before I determine how I really feel about this course.
I will concede that the course is better than I expected and I look forward to returning.

Course in great condition
Course was in good condition. Some wet areas due to recent rain. Pace of play was slow due to a foursome in front of us.

This is an amazing track! Greens are rolling true! Last 3 holes are tough! Great round of 80 from the Blue tees!
