Eagle Ridge
Course was in good shape with greens which roll true. Only negative is that the practice range was absolutely horrible - essentially sand.

Nice course for the $
Was able to get a golfnow deal to play on a friday afternoon. Not very crowded, fun course, some holes tight, some wide open. Good value.

Greens need work
These poor greens need help. Some of the fairways are better than the last time I played but the greens had some really bad bare spots. Just like a lot of Fred Smith courses they need an infusion of some money spent on course. The day we played the driving range was closed.

Great course, great shape
There are a couple of holes on this course that people love to hate, but Eagle Ridge is always in great shape, bunkers and fairways are well maintained, and the greens are fast and true. One of my favorites in the area. I've played there many times and will again in the future.

So So Condition
Been a year since I played ER. The greens were sanded and on the thin side. Several of the fairways have been hit hard with winter kill. Interesting layout....some target golf holes. I did appreciate the new score card with the white tees at about 6000 yds....blues are now 6450 yds.
IMO, Riverwood is in way better condition.....Hedingham greens are definitely better than ER.
I'll try ER again after July.

Beautiful coirse, excellent shape, very challenging greens
Course was pricey but was in excellent shape. There’s a lot of variety on the types of holes that make creativity a keep factor in navigating the dangers. Greens were in excellent shape but they have a lot of undulation and it means you need to know where to land the ball. It’s a lovely course and I’ll definitely come back again.

Shell of its former self
This used to be one of the nicer courses in Wake county. The Fred Smith company has destroyed this course. I've never seen a group of eight people playing together. The pace is slow enough for paint to dry. The course was in poor condition compared to what I remember a decade ago. Do yourself a favor and go to Keith Hills. It's a bit of a drive, but much better.
