Nice Day...For Turtles
I booked my reservation on GolfNow. $40 due at the course. The young man in the pro shop charged me $60. Strike One. I showed up at the tee box early. There was a bit of a back-up, but the starter was doing his best to keep people moving. Two gentlemen, part of the foursome in front of me, showed up late and then asked to be allowed to play separate. The starter kindly told them, "no," and allowed them to catch up with their group. Unfortunately, after the first hole (out of the starter's sight), the aforementioned twosome decided to splinter from their foursome. The pace of play slowed significantly. We waited on every tee box. To make matters worse, these gentlemen decided to play from the tips, and let's just say they were playing from the wrong set of tees. Strike Two. The course was in good shape for late March. The greens were fast (love it!). A roving marshal might have changed the pace of play.
Great layout , lots of elevation and a good test of golf
Early in the season so the fairways were pretty bare. I’d assume mid season provides better iron play outta the fairways … fast greens
Course was in ok, shape. Greens were not very great. Unrepaired ball.marks and fertilizer all over the greens
They are putting new sand in the bunkers. The golfnow price was $20 cheaper than what the course wanted charge but the course honored the golfnow price. I defenently would not pay $60 to play this course during the week.
Driving range was closed. They said itt is closed every Wednesday. That was disappointing.
They have new carts that are nice but very sensitive. They cut-off on us multiple times in the fairway amd on the cart path. All in all, I don't think we will be back.
Nice day playing alone
Some very challenging holes, and wide open fairways.
It was a very nice day!
First time playing here
We were cart path on for 10 holes so that slowed us down a little. Greens were in very good condition and most traps were playable despite the course being a little wet from recent snow & rain. My first time to play Eagle Ridge. Will be back to play it in the summer. Yes, I recommend this course for everyone. I did think the holes #17 & 18 made for a challenging finish. But I enjoyed that!
Open and Forgiving !!
Not the greatest experience. Breakdown:
Positives
1. Broad / Open fairways - Allowing for long hitting and does not punish miss-hits (read: slice / hooks)
2. Clean on-course restrooms
3. Friendly Pro-staff crew
Negatives
1. Very poor rental set conditions. Not worth the $25
2. Green’s are unrealistically fast. I am all for fast green’s but these were out-of-control (for me). I have rated the Course Difficulty as Challenging only basis this. Other than the Green Speed the course is relatively Easy.
3. Very slow pace of play. For a single ball it took me 2+ hours to finish the back 9.
Fun course
Fun tract, great layout, plenty of water, bunkers need some love and quick greens.
First time playing the course
Awesome layout. Course was in fair condition giving consideration to the fact that it’s mid November. Will definitely recommend and play again whenever I’m in the area.
Wonderful Course
My son and I decided to play Eagle Ridge since we hadn't played it for a few years. Wow, what a beautiful course and very challenging for us. The tee boxes, fairways, rough and greens were amazing....kudos to the ground crews!! The 19th hole Tavern was awesome as well!! We will definitely be back!!
