For whatever reasun this course doues not provide a course layout on the back of the scoresheet. Unusual!

Setting that aside this 9 was fun to play. Nice variety of tees to acommodate all level of players. Too bad the front nine does not match the "fun level" of the back.

Greens were VERY SLOW. Fairways in fair condition but not at a good level.

NICE sand in all the traps.

I read where the greens were in bad shape last fall. It looks like they resodded large sections, and now greens get an 8 of 10. Fairways appear to be over seeded but are still very tight. Bunkers have lots of fresh sand. Will be back with the right Hot Deal.

The course layout is great but management does a very poor job of keeping the course in good condition and overall experience. They DO NOT monitor pace of play and even with the course in bad shape, charge premium rates. By the way, there's no drinking water stations.

Situated in a retirement community you would think they would be more affordable, nope. Without the deals on Tee Off it's not worth the money. The drainage is terrible. So many soggy spots. Several fairways were patchy of weeds. Pace of play... they let 2 groups of 4 and a group of 2 go out with in 15mins. No starter. Checking in at the club house was an unpleasant experience. Most of the greens were in great shape! They do have a clubhouse with full bar and food, when open.

We are considering moving into the community but wanted to check the golf course out. I was extremely apprehensive with all the negative reviews so I wanted to see for myself. I played the course and yes the condiitons were consistent with Winter conditions. What I liked was the course was fun to play, a nice variety of holes and things to considered while playing. What I did not like was the divots not being replaced, nor the ball marks on the greens not being repaired. I also think the price was too high for winter rates.

If your going to play this course, book a deal time at pinetuck and save yourself half the money to play on a course with near same conditions. The staff was very friendly and the course had a cool layout, but the course conditions had to be the worst in the area. The pace of play is horrible no matter if it’s Sunday or Wednesday. The fact that a “deal time” is roughly 50 dollars should be against the law at this course.

The greed were not in good shape for the money I paid,I played with a friend of mine just 2 of us was behind a foursome who wouldn’t let us play thru not cool,staff was very friendly but not satisfied for being charged $75 to play spotted up greens

Overall a great public course nestled in a huge community of homes that makes for a fun and scenic round of golf. With ponds, lakes, ravens, and the Catawba River nearby, it’s an experience worth seeing.

Course is beautiful, staff is friendly, but the pace is play here is an issue. Groups are typically started off both the front and back 9s, and inconsistency with turn times + more groups going out can cause issues. There are also a couple holes on the back 9 that consistently get backed up. Yesterday, we spent 10-15 minutes after finishing a hole before being able to tee off on the next hole.

Will certainly go back for the views and course layouts, but if you’re looking for a quick or normal paced round, this isn’t the place.

I was disappointed in the condition of the greens. There were a lot of bare spots, ball marks and sand on most of the greens making it fairly difficult to just speed and your lines having to put through all of them. The course was in good shape and enjoy the layout but with so many courses to choose from in the area when I’m down visiting I’m not sure I’d want to come back and risk it

I have enjoyed playing this course over the last few years because it has always been maintained well. I played here yesterday and every green has been neglected. I am disappointed as this was one of my favorite courses to play in the area. I’ve worked as a greens keeper before and I would recommend replacing every green instead of trying to patch them up like they are attempting to do now.

A great course layout, but I feel the pricing was in line with when the course is in pristine condition. I thought the greens were in horrible shape and therefore felt I overpaid for the round.

Front 9 pace of play was 3 hours long on a Thursday afternoon. Was unable to finish my 18 due to sun going down

The greens were in terrible condition. Atleast 40% of all 18 greens were dead grass or dirt. I was punished for hitting the greens. It was not a fun course to play due to the poor quality of greens. Will not play again

This course has a great layout and used to be in good shape. Not sure what happened, but greens are in really bad shape. Also, we paid $82 to play the back 9 twice! They didnt tell us when booking on GolfNow that this was the case. I know they are trying to make improvements, but not worth the $82.00
