West at Woodlands Country Club

As usual, Club Link has taken what was a fairly nice golf course and destroyed it. I played here a year ago several times and thoroughly enjoyed it. I was almost shocked at the deterioration. Very Sad.

Not much strikes me as either exceptional or poor so it's a reasonable place to play in the area. Staff was friendly and it was a crowded saturday morning so that speaks well for them. I'd play it again to mix up the places we play in the area. West course is more interesting than the east.

Im sure at one tine this course was great, however the current owner has let the course go.

Tee boxes are terrible, fairways average at best, many had dead grass or patches of dirt. \Putting greens sucked.

Went thru FOUR golf carts.

WILL NEVER play again

It is a nice course but not what you would expect from a "country club". Practice facilities ok. Greens has a bit of repair areas but they rolled very nicely. Slow pace for an Easter Sunday. Still very glad I went. Enjoyed the course

Our round was VERY SLOW, the coarsest needs a Marshall checking on players. The couple in front of us

waited on every hole for the foursome in front to to clear the green before the hit, never would they have hit them .

A nice curiosity but really slowed us down the entire round. Weekend golfers as we say. Important for the coarse we understand but so annoying if a Marshall was watching they could have been pushed on . We lose interest and get bored when waiting on every hole.

The course is in good shape and not too expensive. There was no drinking water on the course however

Two 18 hole layouts... fair with many tee options. Fairways are a bit thin, but greens pitted true. Would play it again.

For the first time I had no issue with my cart. I’ve left mine on the path more than once before due to dead battery and saw several while playing the other day. The staff is always hard working-too much so actually as the place was busy and not near enough starters and cart folks. They also rarely have any ranger assuring pace of play though today wasn’t as bad as other times I’ve golfed here. I enjoy the course itself. Tee boxes in rough shape but fairways and greens not too bad. I’d recommend this course and will return.

I have always like the West Course at Woodlands. It is a challenging but fair layout. Wish more people filled divots and fixed ball marks, though. Would play regularly if not for travel time for me.

We played the West Course. It was very windy, played havoc with some shots. I will play here again, as it has a nice layout. Plenty of bunkers to keep you honest. Play smart!

The layout is superb , grass is average, green very average, speeds of green varuable

But at 3:30 at good price : i’m happy camper, my girl friend too

So this is a good start up

Coming down from NJ,& eager to play a familiar layout. Only 2nd round this year.

Was here 3 yrs ago & the course was in v.good shape. Greens were topdressed earlier in the week, but rolled great & were pretty quick.

Staff was most accommodating & I played with 2 foreigners who were fun.

Looks like some improvements were made. Saturday 720 time@ $55 Golfnow was a good deal & playedin less than 4hours. Great experience for 2nd round of 2019

Have played this course about 6 times in the last 18 months. The course has good greens and fairways. The staff is always friendly and courteous. Good golf for the money.

OK but there are other better courses in the area on same price level

Didn't realize this is a ClubLink golf course. As a Clublink member, I would have saved myself some money. ClubLink doesn't put a lot of money in golf courses but this one is not bad. Good layout & the greens and fairways are in good condition. Definitely worth playing if you can get it for around $50.00

Fair layout, but position is important, even from the whites. Greens were not extreme with slopes. Group ahead of our foursome was slow, and course ranger failed to speed them up.
