About
The Pines is one of two championship golf courses at Woodmont Country Club in Tamarac. It and the Cypress Course share a gently rolling landscape that is sprinkled with mature trees, which frame the views from the elevated tees. While they share the same terrain, the courses offer very different challenges. The lengthier Cypress requires both distance and accuracy while the Pines Course will get you thinking. It is a shot maker's course that will test a variety of skills. Course management is key as is a well thought out strategy for every hole. The layout features undulating greens and tree-lined fairways that also place a premium on accurate shot placement. In addition to the golf courses, Woodmont C.C. also has a driving range and two putting greens for golfers to use.

Greens and fairways First 9 impeccable !
Second 9 horrible ….never seen that much différence
on the same golf course…..???
Perfect time for a relaxing 9 holes
Course in great shape, staff at pro shop was nice. Couldn’t play 18 with starting at 5:36 but perfect time for 9 holes
Always good value
The Cypress front nine was in solid shape, tee to green while the back nine must be getting ready to be worked on. I have always found the staff here to be the friendliest of any course I play in the county.
Not the greatest deal
Very friendly staff but the back nine is nowhere near decent playing conditions. Course layout is very random. 90 degrees par 5 make it almost impossible to reach in 2, unexpected water hazards made me drop 4 balls after thinking the teeshot was perfect. There are just better courses available everywhere else

As the signs around the clubhouse note we are only a few weeks away from closing the back 9 of the cypress course for renovations. Starting May 5th we will begin the work on the back 9 putting in brand new greens, tees and bunkers that will be back up and available in the fall. We appreciate your support and hope we will see you again once the work has been completed.
Don't spend your money there.
First , the staff is very good.
The pace of play was not that good , we had to wait on every tee...
The greens on the back nine are terrible,
The carts have expired , they need to buy new ones.

Liked very much the course. The greens are above average to other most courses in south Florida.
Back nine is in poor shape. Greens, tees are full of weeds.

Wait after next rain for better conditions
Staff verry frindly and helpfull. Played on Cypress course.
Tee boxes are in better condition than the greens!
Greens are large with a bit of challenge but grass burned by lack of water.
For now doesnt worth $90

Enjoy Woodmont every time. Friendly staff, decently maintained. Had a fun round.
Did not improve
I played this course a few weeks ago or so and I believe I gave it a fairly good rating because it seemed they were making efforts to improve it but it has unfortunately gotten worse. Looks like they plan on renovating back nine this summer but they need to once again work on the front nine again while renovating the back. Staff is great and pace was incredible and it has a good layout but conditions for the money even discounted simply means I cannot suggest it at this time.
Good course
This course is great. Staff were all incredibly friendly. They have clearly been putting in some work on it. The front 9 greens have been redone. They have plans to redo the back as well. They play at markedly different speeds (back is much faster). The layout is excellent. With a little more work, this course will be top notch. We played it twice in a recent trip.
