Devlin and VonHagge designed this course, which challenges even experienced golfers. It has been rated by Golf Digest to be among the 50 top courses in the United States. The signature hole on the Championship Course is #12, a 452-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot through a cypress forest to an island green.
This 7,258 yards, par 71 course has narrow fairways, a deep rough as well as plenty of water and bunkers. Enjoy the fast greens and the excitement of knowing you're on one of the best.

Great greens. Everything else sucks
That's the deal. Really nice greens. Great layout. A bear from the 2 back tees. But the fairways suck. No grass. Lots and Lots of bare spots. Same around the greens. Tee boxes could be worse. Should be better. Cart paths suck. Huge potholes everywhere. And for some reason the backup alarm on the cart is ridiculously loud. Nice bar. Poor service. Barely average food. I got a grey burger. Like it was steamed or something. Not great.
Great Day!
We played the championship course and had an amazing day. The starter (Stu) was very helpful and friendly! The course wasn’t crowded so we had plenty of time to enjoy the game! We enjoyed lunch in the restaurant after we finished and the food was very good!
Good greens
I play here fairly often. As per usual, the greens are very good. Unfortunately, the condition on the rest of this course are not good. The tee boxes suck. This I can live with. But the fairways have little to no grass on them. Every lie is TIGHT. Lots of bare spots in the middle of the fairways and around the greens. But the greens are so good...this, to me, makes it worth it. Btw, the starter doesn't have a clue and doesn't really seem to like people. God forbid they load ur clubs or offer to clean them. But the tip jar is displayed prominently. Play it if ur priority is nice greens. If tee boxes and fairways are important to u, don't.
Better than I expected
Fast green nice layout. Good value under $40. Will cone back..

First time playing championship course was expecting the fairways an greens to be much smoother an less crab grass
Course in great shape
Greens in the best shape I have ever seen them. Still.some rough patches on the fairways. For the $$ cannot complain. Awesome food and bar with drinks the best deal in the area. You have to play this course before it goes private like everything else around here.
Nice golf course but not good greens
Greens have a lot of weed growing so the golf ball is jumping in all detections, the speed is good but greens are not well cared for.
Beautiful but needs work
Had a good time but it was like hitting the ball off concrete.
Discourse has not been watered in months very dry
I played here three times but the last time in April that I played the course is very dry. The fairways were rock hard. I can’t explain it
The greens were fast and undulating
Greens very challenging. Fairways and tees need quite a bit of work. They show that the course receives a great deal of play. Very difficult to find yardage markers (other than the 150 stakes).
Good Day On the course
Good Day. Finished play in less than 4 hours teeing off at 8:15am. Course is fun. Grass a bit thin in many spots but greens ok. Not sure why Florida courses can't grow grass consistently.
OK day of golf
Course was a good deal. Conditions were OK. Thin grass everywhere but that seems normal on public courses right now. Don't know why can't grow grass
