Golfer Reviews
Very nice fairways and greens
The only downside to this course is no driving range. New clubhouse is very nice and course is in excellent condition. Staff is amazing.
Fun, Challenging Course!
I haven't played here in over 20 years! The greens were much better but SLOW. The tee boxes need work and the fairways aren't plush....that's the bad. However, I played in 3:12, the course is fun and challenging. If they put a little money in to the maintenance I would rank higher. I would come back though and play again.
Course conditions and golf carts
Course is in acceptable conditions. Price is right. Green on the slow side but in good shape. Had to wait for a cart and that caused a delay of 10-15 minutes.
Room for improvement
Tee boxes were significantly deteriorated when compared to 2 months ago. Pace of play was terrible and starter could have done a better job in dispatching twosomes ahead of multiplied foursomes. I was about to purchase their membership, but yesterday experience made me reconsider it.
Great Value
My only constructive criticism would be the need for improvement of the tee boxes.
We had a few slow groups ahead of us which is never fun anywhere. This course has a great track, challenging enough but not too difficult for the novice golfer.
I’ll probably play it again while staying down here.
Colony West Championship Course.
I,'m playing this course for years. I really like the layout.
Over the years the course conditions are slowly deteriorating. Tee times before three o'clock are very expensive, and they do not acccept Golf Now promo codes. They can do this because so many south Florida courses have closed., so they remain busy this time of year.
Florida good do better
First let me say I’m from Virginia. We have seasons. Our golf courses are in emasculate condition. Our prices are from 30 to 50 weekdays. Since Florida is warm practically every day you would think the courses would be in in great shape. . Let’s put some money into the tee boxes.
Excellent
I have been playing this course since the early 70’s. They have done improvements and the only real issue is the tee boxes. They have got to remedy these. Horrible!
Starter
Course was in great shape. The starter was obviously having a bad day which caused him to be extremely rude. I pay for a pleasant playing experience which he ruined before I even started playing!
Nice layout
The course was in good shape. Only 4 mens tees each separated by about 500 yards each. The course needs combo tees to play to the right distance for all golfers. Also some tees are up others back so no consistency. Always enjoy playing this course.
