East at Woodlands Country Club

tee boxes a bit tired looking but didn't mind because the green conditions made up for any other difficencies from tee to gree.
pro shop staff exception. verry friendly and eager to serve; ie. the guy behind the counter came out to put my bag on the cart then asked if i'd like some water for the course. very enjoyable day over all.

We played the East Course from the Blue Tees. Fairways need some TLC, the greens were very fast and difficult to read the breaks. We definitely will play again, hopefully the price would be a bit more reasonable.

The course has been recommended by a friend and we found it beautiful. A good layout, challenging, beautiful green well protected and fast. I would recommend this golf course to anyone who likes to play golf.

The staff does a good job organizing the chaos and grouping players. The Tee boxes, fairways and greens are in good shape. The course has an open feel with water and bunkers coming into play. Short par 3's and long par 5's Definitely worth the deal on golfnow

The course was in Great shape, unfortunately it started to rain and we only played one hole. The staff was nice enough to give me a Raincheck

We have been to this course a few times and the bag attendants are awesome. However when we went to check in we were told the rate we have paid because we get there before 8am would not honored today. He then made some lie about a coupon they had out. He could not even explain the coupon correctly. We knew he was lying. the same person checked us in every time and told us it would never change. He was rude the entire time. Then on the third hole the foursome behind us did not wait for us to clear the green and hit our golf cart nearly hitting us. The pace of play was so slow. Then the same kid that lied to us drove out and told us to play through the foursome in front of us because the people behind us complained. We told him about the incident and he said he didn't care because it was the president of the course! Apparently they hate locals and make it obvious. When the seasonal income leaves they will try and attract locals but will not get business from this one. I hope the president reads this and realizes how wrong it is to treat anyone like this.

Long afternoon! 5 hours to play ... Course condition less than average ... Greens and sand traps require attention.

The pace was very good, staff were very helpful and friendly. The course was in very nice condition, and a really good course for all calibre of player.

Most greens are protected well with front bunkers. Water generally not an issue. Nice course to play if you want to play a nice course but not want to be frustrated.

Because someone told you the West is a better course, is NOT true. If you want some challenge on your approach shots, or some "Dart shooting" greens, the EAST is the course of those two beautiful Woodlands club.

The East is not maintained as well as the West

This course was in great shape and well worth it to play.

I played the west multiples times in the past but the east is lot more challenging especially the greens

Nice course,super staff inside and outside the club house,large green,good speed,course for intermediate and +, not easy with a wind 15 to 25 mph.

Course was in very good shape and staff friendly. For the average golfer the course is challenging but very playable

I was very impressed with the staff that I met at Woodlands but the course does not meet my view of a Country Club.

--For what ever reason, the group in front of us was a five-some. When the group was two holes behind I called and requested a marshall. There was no Marshall assigned to the course but someone from the pro shop came out and broke up the group of five.
--There were a few things that made for a frustrating round. There was only one rake per sandtrap, even on some very large traps. None of the ice-water dispensers on the course were operating.

I probably won't play this one again.

The fairways are narrow and challenging with a lot of sand bunkers, water, and tall trees almost on every hole. The Greens are in good slope and excellent conditions. I played the West course and definitely will be back to play the East soon.
