The Cypress Course at Woodmont Country Club in Tamarac is named after the mature trees that line the fairways and frame the views from the elevated tees. The course measures 7,043 yards and features undulating greens that are a challenge too with carefully shaped contours that are subtle but tricky. It is a golf course that requires not only distance, but also accuracy and a good course management.

Great place
The staff was very nice and accommodating the course was in great shape recommended highly!
In violation of Broward County CDC Guidlines
This course is in violation of Broward County CDC Guidlines! All golfers are required to be in their own individual cart until further notice! If they are charging you a fee to ride single it’s illegal. I’ve called Broward County and filed a complaint.
Decent but not aesthetically outstanding
This is an okay place to play and provides you with a fun day. Greens are quite fast so fun putting. The track is just okay aesthetically, some water but otherwise plain. Eagle Trace definitely a step up and guess it’s why this is less expensive.
Course Good. Supplement for Single Occupancy Cart not Good
All good as usual- course conditions, pace of play, staff (particularly the staff helping with your bags/ getting you started. Good test of golf
However, have to pay a supplement for a single cart if booking for more than 1 person. NOT good in these COVID times and, frankly against common sense (even if it is inline with CDC recommendations - how often has the CDC been wrong over the last year..). Reality - it’s about money, nothing else. Leaves a bad taste because it is just wrong until we are all vaccinated
Great course
Entire first experience here was great! Only thing that could be improved is on course bathrooms. The only bathroom we noticed was at the clubhouse. Beer lady on the course was super friendly and everything on the cart was super affordable! I would recommend this course and come again, we rode as a couple and came from Indiana.
Getting better and better!
Great conditions! The greens are great, the tee boxes are doing great and the pace of play in the afternoon was great!
Best course for the money
New clubhouse. Still construction around but without any problems to playing. Fairways are not the best but better than any other course around. Greens are in perfect shape. Best deal in Broward county
Fast greens
I found this course last year and couldn’t wait to get back on it.The conditions are excellent,fairways,tee boxes,the greens are beautiful,and fast.The staff are extremely welcoming,the course is a great layout,lots and really,really fun to play,there’s nothing I didn’t enjoy and will be back next week.
Great course layouts and challenging greens
I love the layout and design of the course. The holes are challenging but fun and the greens are humbling as well. Staff is always friendly too.

The negative: this course does not have a driving range.

The course is great. Not the easiest course but one that always makes you comeback for more! The greens are probably one of the highlights, they run true and if people fixed the ball marks they would be even better.
I will be coming back again.
