The Cypress Course at Woodmont Country Club in Tamarac is named after the mature trees that line the fairways and frame the views from the elevated tees. The course measures 7,043 yards and features undulating greens that are a challenge too with carefully shaped contours that are subtle but tricky. It is a golf course that requires not only distance, but also accuracy and a good course management.

nice...nice
Great to get out after 7+ weeks of lock down! The course was in very good condition & greens were about a 9 on the stimp. There is a brand new clubhouse for all to enjoy with outside sitting areas. Definitely recommend.
Good value
Nice course...greens were in good shape. Layout was interesting...challenging...fairways were decent ...some bare spots in the rough..good bang for the buck...I will play here again
Great staff - renovation looking good!
Had a really nice time. Staff was super friendly as well as players. Renovation looks great, still doing some work on smaller nine hole course but still enjoyed it!
Good course
Paid $30 on a hot deal and that seemed like too much, but after not golfing for 5 weeks I paid it.
Hopefully the course does not keep the rates high because I will stay away.
Best part of the day was
pace of play - everyone had their own cart and even with 5 4-somes in front of us....we never had to wait.
Foam in holes - they were cut a little below the hole so your ball actually went into a hole. Leaving the foam "level" is useless.
Course should be $20 on a hot deal and about $25-$35 weekday and $35-$45 for summer months. Raise the rates for the Canadians, not the people who live and golf during the summer.
Interesting course
Nice course, challenging and in good condition. Challenging greens and good layout.
Outstanding grass
The greens are the best on a daily fee course that I have played (among many) in SE Florida for the past few years. The fairways are very good too.
Not what it used to be
I've played here for about 20 years. Love the layout of Cypress. New clubhouse is very nice too I know management tries to keep course in good condition and the greens are rolling well. My main complaints (and lower ratings) are partly a function of the golfers. Course used to have stakes or ropes to keep carts away from greens or off par 3's. Those are no longer there. I see carts next to the greens and traps, and driving back and forth on fairways of par 3's all the time. I do not see any rangers on course. as a result, there are many areas where there is little grass near greens. When course is more crowded, the play can be very slow too; rangers might help with that as well. I wish golfers had more consideration for the course itself as well as other golfers. Those days are probably gone for a course open to the public. However, some minimal attention from management might help protect some of the work they are doing to get it in better shape.

The course it’s in great condition and the greens are running almost a 11-12. Improvements have been made.
Greens in good condition
Pace of play on Sunday morning was good and greens rolled great. I will definitely be playing this course again.
sorry but Woodmont is not a $56 value. It's a good course but certainly not worth the prices ur charging. Look at the number of tee time vacancy slots, that should be an indicator that ur value is not in line with local Fl golfers.
Best value in Ft Lauderdale
Greens were in great shape and rolled perfectly. The rest of the course is in above average condition. Pace of play was 3.5 hours. New clubhouse. There is construction going on around the course but it doesn’t affect play. No cart service on course was a drawback
