The Cypress Course at Woodmont Country Club in Tamarac is named after the mature trees that line the fairways and frame the views from the elevated tees. The course measures 7,043 yards and features undulating greens that are a challenge too with carefully shaped contours that are subtle but tricky. It is a golf course that requires not only distance, but also accuracy and a good course management.

Great course!
Well maintained for the green fees! Greens were fast although they didn’t look like it. Most greens don’t break as much as they look!

Nice Course
Played here a few times this season and it's a very nice course. People are nice, course layout is pretty good nothing too challenging.
This will be much more appealing once the clubhouse is finished.
NOT A BAD TRACK
After reading recent reviews before booking a round here, I was optimistic. The only real complaint would be that some of the greens on the front nine seemed distressed. We liked the overall layout and after putting on the practice green, we found the greens to be really firm. I thought about rating this a 4-star course, but the greens on the front side took away from that. I recommend the course and would play it again in the future.

Conditions
Greens were rough and bumpy. To be fair substantial money has been injected in to a new clubhouse (not yet open) they have opened 9 holes of the Pines course which was closed our last visit here but can’t speak to the conditions of it. My wife had several holes, including a Par 5 that a very short iron was required from the tee as it was impossible for her to clear water required for Her Tee shot. Possible they could rethink the set up for the Red tees a bit better. Garbage containers were full at every hole despite an early tee time. The course had an overall tiredness to it. Staff were very pleasant and helpful though...that was nice!! Certainly wasn’t the course we played here 8 years ago.. Happens

Very good greens and layout
Very good greens and layout. Once again a pleasure to play here. Tee boxes were kinda beat up than normal. Fairways were good, rough was good, greens were very good. Some holes have water hazzards which makes it challenging. Staff is always friendly.
Golf
The course wasn't bad but they just arriated the greens and we didn't know that ahead of time. This should be posted on the website. Clubhouse was old, but a new one is under construction.

Great course, awesome greens. Fast!
This course is one of my favorite tracks to play in south Florida. Greens are fast and true. Fairways are nicely mowed. Rough is playable, not too penalizing. Tee boxes are okay. Course was busy on President's day and pace of play was fine. Highly recommend this course "cypress" to all golfers! Enjoy!

Always a pleasure to play here. It's quite a bit of a trek to get here for me, but always worth it.
Greens are always phenomenal. Fast and roll true. Fairway and layout are challenging, but great. Some holes have water hazzards, so just plan your shot accordingly. Very enjoyable round as always. Will be back soon.

No memorable holes. Odd routing. Mediocre course in every respect except for greens. Greens while not particularly receptive to shots, are fast and smooth.

Like the course, just too slow
Course in great condition, nice layout, starter a little jumpy, my only gripe is the pace of play. I can’t stand 5 hour rounds I left without finishing 18
Better than expected
We were pleasantly surprised. Clearly this course is on its way back tonits old self. It had been a ver long time since being there. We really enjoyednit.
