The Cypress Course at Woodmont Country Club in Tamarac is named after the mature trees that line the fairways and frame the views from the elevated tees. The course measures 7,043 yards and features undulating greens that are a challenge too with carefully shaped contours that are subtle but tricky. It is a golf course that requires not only distance, but also accuracy and a good course management.

Good value
Decent track in pretty good shape with some nice holes. Worth the price . From the back tees can be tough with tree lines guarding the fairways .
Friendly
This is really a good local public course but what earns it a very positive review is how nice the staff is. Not at all typical for South Florida even though most places are fine Woodmont is exceptional and we always make a point of playing when we visit
not worth the money
course conditions not good. Range horrible,Tee boxes terrible, Fairways fair, greens fair, course amenities terrible. New clubhouse shourd be very nice but without putting some money into the course it is no longer on my rotation.

It was a beautiful day. the course was in great shape. When the construction of the new club house and parking area is complete. I'm confident this course will be the top rated course in south Florida. the greens are EXCELLENT.

An old time favorite
The course was in good shape but the fairways are cut too short and sparse forcing you.to pick the ball with irons. Greens were great, fast, tee boxes could use help as there was alot of sand. Bunkers awesome. Play now as they are ripping up the back none greens for the summer.to re-do.. great course for the money, building a brand new club house. Very player friendly. played in e hours going off at 7:20 a.m.
Disappointed
Overall rating here is only average. There is plenty of water here which leads to shots being carried over water. The course design is interesting and challenging to play. The course conditions are less than ideal. The grass (?) on the fairways is sparse with lots of weeds present. The tee boxes were similar. The greens were quick because they were skinned with little grass present. This could be a great course if an investment was made to improve the conditions I just mentioned. Until improvements are made, this will remain a 2-3 star golf course. The pace of play was great on the front nine but slowed to a snail’s pace on the back nine. No rangers were present and the staff gave no explanation for the slow play.

Course and Club Under Construction
We should have been told ahead of time the course and clubhouse was under construction. The club and course will be nice in a couple years, but not now.

Exceptional Staff Friendliness & Challenging Course
Tough golf course with very challenging holes. Lots of water to keep you on your toes. Staff really goes out of their way to rake care of people. Really customer oriented--makes you feel like they really want you to be satisfied. New Clubhouse not finished yet and the course needs some sprucing up but you can see that they're working on it.

Awesome Time
My son was visiting from Baltimore MD. We love to get together now and then to play a little golf. This facility was decently layout, course was well maintained, challenging and the staff was friendly and helpful...we had a great time!
Course Conditions
Course layout is very good, it’s a shame that they have not kept the course up, however the new club house and tennis/fitness center will help upscale the facility. Tennis courts not maintained highlights the lack of maintenance of the course and facilities

A beautiful Friday at Woodmont
I played this course probably 18 months ago and in that period they’ve made a ton of improvement. The last time we played we said, great layout, too bad about the course maintenance and the facilities were frankly a bit creepy. Today we saw a new clubhouse being constructed that is almost complete, a course that was in great shape with fast firm greens, and a new nine called the Pines that must have been acquired since we played last? In a few months this may become a go to coursefor us. Staff was beyond friendly as well! Great day of golf.
