Cypress at Woodmont Country Club
About
The Cypress Course at Woodmont Country Club in Tamarac is named after the mature trees that line the fairways and frame the views from the elevated tees. The course measures 7,043 yards and features undulating greens that are a challenge too with carefully shaped contours that are subtle but tricky. It is a golf course that requires not only distance, but also accuracy and a good course management.

Nice Club
My husband and I loved this course ! Played twice so far and the staff is always smiling and friendly. The fairways are in good shape and the bunkers were decent. Will probably go back again for sure. Recommend for every level of play. You won’t be disappointed!
Friendly Course
Staff very accommodating and friendly. Wonderful pro sho and beautiful fairways and greens. Probably will be back !
Very nice trek
The course is in good condition yet the tee boxes need a little TLC.
Amazing Greens, Cool Layout.
Played Cypress front & back. Front was renovated and was in really great shape even though some sod was still growing in here and there. The greens were fast, true and held really well (receptive) despite being in a drought. Lots of undulations and makes for interesting pin positions and challenges for approach shots. There's a course app to download which made figuring out what to hit off the tees very useful! I'll definitely play here again when I return to the area.
Very good course
Great layout. Played in 3:40 min on a Sunday 7:15 tee off. Conditions a bit patchy here and there which is typical for many FLA courses.
Pleasantly Surprised
Course was not too busy for a Monday morning.
As a 2some, we played in less than 4 hours.
There are 3 nines, The Pines & two Cypress.
We played the Cypress Front & Back nines.
The tee boxes, fairways and greens were in good condition.
The greens are very undulated and quite challenging.
They were considerably fast and true.
The back nine greens were a little patchy but still very playable.
The clubhouse is fairly new and modern.
Each staff member I spoke with was courteous and helpful.
Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and will be returning.
Pines 10/Cypress
Played Pines and Cypress. Cypress is a shorter 9 that is pieced together from an old 18 that appears to have been shut down for development. It’s fun but not as in good shape as Pines. There’s some long distances between holes as well not that it matters much as long as your in a cart. I prefer Pines 18 but still enjoyed the combo of Pines/Cypress. I’d play it again particularly for the price.
