Cypress at Woodmont Country Club

Great layout. Played in 3:40 min on a Sunday 7:15 tee off. Conditions a bit patchy here and there which is typical for many FLA courses.

Course was not too busy for a Monday morning.

As a 2some, we played in less than 4 hours.

There are 3 nines, The Pines & two Cypress.

We played the Cypress Front & Back nines.

The tee boxes, fairways and greens were in good condition.

The greens are very undulated and quite challenging.

They were considerably fast and true.

The back nine greens were a little patchy but still very playable.

The clubhouse is fairly new and modern.

Each staff member I spoke with was courteous and helpful.

Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and will be returning.

Played Pines and Cypress. Cypress is a shorter 9 that is pieced together from an old 18 that appears to have been shut down for development. It’s fun but not as in good shape as Pines. There’s some long distances between holes as well not that it matters much as long as your in a cart. I prefer Pines 18 but still enjoyed the combo of Pines/Cypress. I’d play it again particularly for the price.

The front nine greens, tee boxes and fairways were redone recently. The tee boxes were plush and clean, the fairways were also plush and the greens rolled true and fast. Just the way I like them. Also a small redesign on the par 5 dogleg right 7th or 8th hole was cool. Had fun playing the course except for the slow playing Canadians in front of us.
