About
Wentworth Golf Club is routed through a scenic and varied landscape of woods and wetlands. At 6,459 yards, the golf course is relatively short but it offers a demanding, target-style layout. The course has narrow fairways and small greens that run fast. The front nine is routed through towering stands of cypress trees, pines, and mature oaks while the back nine has a more links-style layout that will test your shot-making skills. Water hazards come into play on several holes but the far more prominent features of the course are the massive bunkers that lurk beside the fairways and greens, ready to swallow even slightly errant shots. Careful strategy is required throughout the course in order to avoid losing balls. In addition to the challenging layout, Wentworth G.C. boasts superb conditions that are considered some of the area's best.

Was disappointed with course after driving through a very wealthy community, expensive houses. Course was very dry, fairways had a lot of hard pan. Greens were fuzzy and slow. Not a lot of markers for distance or ob. Carts were dangerous with terrible brakes.
Wentworth
Greens were in great shape, fairways were patchy. No racks in traps. Friendly pro shop.
1st time at Wentworth
This was my first time at Wentworth. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
The course layout was somewhat challenging, harder than I was expecting.
Condition of the course, tee boxes, very good, greens, excellent, sand traps, very good, in-between the tee boxes and the greens, fairways, could use some work for the amount of $$ we paid and considering where the course is, gated upper-class community.
I was also very surprised by this, the course is still using Gas Golf Carts, not Electric, and there are no electronics on the carts either.
Gated community, very very nice homes driving towards the course, pull up to the course and you are greeted by this very immense building, and then u go get your golf cart and it is Gas, no electronics, all I can say is Wow, big let down.
Even with that being said, u ask would I return to Wentworth and pay to play there again, Yes I would. Would I recommend this course to a friend, Yes I would but with the preface about the carts.

Played in under 4 hours. Other golfers must have been at the Valspar

Surprised at very good tee blocks - greens were in good shape and fairways were decent !!! Beverage cart girl was awesome ! (Friendly and helpfull)

It’s been a while since we play that course. What a surprise. Greens are perfect. We played our game in 4 hours
Golf
Overall course had slow greens but nice. Course could use some upgrades but for the money it was definitely worth it Not easy but enjoyable.
Price and pace worth it
Winter conditions impacting course but the price and pace helped tip scales to worth it.
they have made improvements
played here in Jan 2023 and was surprised at how they had let the course deteriorate. Got an on-line deal in March 2024 and thought it would be OK for the price. Nice to find they have improved conditions of fairways and greens a whole bunch. I will be back.
