About
Wentworth Golf Club is routed through a scenic and varied landscape of woods and wetlands. At 6,459 yards, the golf course is relatively short but it offers a demanding, target-style layout. The course has narrow fairways and small greens that run fast. The front nine is routed through towering stands of cypress trees, pines, and mature oaks while the back nine has a more links-style layout that will test your shot-making skills. Water hazards come into play on several holes but the far more prominent features of the course are the massive bunkers that lurk beside the fairways and greens, ready to swallow even slightly errant shots. Careful strategy is required throughout the course in order to avoid losing balls. In addition to the challenging layout, Wentworth G.C. boasts superb conditions that are considered some of the area's best.

Wentworth has gone severely downhill
This used to be a top notch course, challenging and beautiful. We hadn’t played there since March 2022, we were shocked at how bad they have let the course go. The tee boxes were bare and moved all
Over to the rough. The greens were full of grab grass and multiple bald spots, ruts and divets so bad your ball bounced around as it headed to the cup. The fairways had large holes, dirt piles, trees down and laying there. The sand traps were full of rocks. It was in the worse shape of any course I have ever played. Won’t be going back unless I hear of improvement. Would love to play there again, the way it used to be. Hoping they put some money back in to it and repair the course to its usual beauty.

Disappointed
Wentworth use to be on the top of list of places to golf. We haven't been there since March. We played there yesterday (11/2) and were shocked at how poor the conditions were. It looks like an abandoned golf course. Greens in bad shape, fairways were bad and burnt out. There wasn't anyone there really, I see why. It used to be so beautiful there. I really hope they work to get it back in shape as it's a great layout.

Difficult course
Because it’s tight on both sides with trees, ponds & lots of large sand traps! Some greens need work & could be cut…very good sand but edges of traps need work…poor tees!

No good shape
I am from Germany and come every year to play golf. This year the course was in the worst shape ever. Teeboxes were terrible, sand in bunkers not well kept.
I like the layout but wo't come again in thr near future

Not as good as past seasons.
The course is very challenging , but the greens were slow and lots of weeds.

Must be good!!
Kicked my Burt!! Great shape, nice greens! Tight, water!! Use your GPS. Cause some water hidden! Need to play it a few times to be comfortable! Lots of fun! My driver got me in trouble. Scored better with a 3w off the tee!!

Very Poor Course Conditions
Would never go back. Quit after 9... Every green had weeds growing, thus putting was like putting on open lot!

Hot Deal Value
Challenging course, but also unforgiving. If you are not accurate, you will lose a lot of balls here. A few greens were in pretty bad shape; bald spots. Several tee boxes were just loose sand. Rocks in the bunkers. The cart path is rough in places and downright dangerous around the 17th green. The concrete path has eroded and appears to be propped up from underneath by a hydraulic jack... very sketchy.

Needs fixin in dome area . Carts old and gas fired .
I like this course and price is right . They could invest in carts cart paths and grass seed 😜☮️

Slowest 18 ever
Had a rough first go at this course with an almost 6hr round, was hoping was a fluke and gave it another go. Solid 5 and a half hours, wait on every tee box and not once did we see anyone from club taking to the 2 some two groups ahead of us shooting a solid 10 on each hole. Incredibly narrow and tightly packed course, had folks hitting errant shots off our fairway and back to theirs way too often. Way too many better courses around to go again.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Not worth the money
I have played this course numerous times in the past. Haven’t been there in about a year but the course is not in good shape. Sand traps are not raked and have stones in them. Fairways have bare spots and are not fun to hit off of. Some greens are in good shape but weeds in the others. Has to be under new ownership. If I lived in the subdivision and payed to live on that course, I would be very upset of the condition.
