Wentworth Golf Club

This course used to be an “elite “ course. It’s not now. The layout is tough but playable. Too bad the new management haven’t spent the money to make it “elite” again.

Will play it again because it’s in walking distance from my home & when TeeOff has a under $20 special.

This course was great for the area and it was an awesome round there!

Beautiful day. Course conditions excellent. Recorded my first hole-in-one on #12, a gap wedge from 120 yards out. Friendly staff and the beer never tasted better.

The course has suffered from the usual heavy rains of Summer but could be improved if a ranger could find the time to tell the moron in the threesome ahead of me to drive and park somewhere besides the very front slope of the greens, the shoulder of the greens and not drive through the easily notice wet areas. Very discouraging to see the course treated this way and then expect others to play. The owners/management need to get control or build condos.

It's was wet due to all the rain witch was expected, some of the greens have grown back in but still need alittle love. The tee box's have grown in on some but still need work . Don't like standing in holes . Always have good time when playing here. Staff very friendly, pace of play was great played 27 holes before lightning and rain started.

Thought the course was extremely challenging and I really good shape for being the end of summer

The greens,fairways and even the golf carts are in poor shape.I wonder what’s going on with this golf club. I haven’t played there in a while but I remember it being in much better shape. Can’t blame it on the weather, I’ve played other courses that have managed to stay in good shape this summer.

Goat pasture! A run down golf course, sitting on an EXPENSIVE track of land, nestled in multi-million dollar homes! It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out the owner would love to shut the course completely down and sell the land to developers, the land is worth 10X what the golf course would ever generate! POS golf course! Save your money!

Bunkers trash, carts are trash, half the greens are ruined, tee boxes are terrible. Nothing to like except pace of play.

Greens were terrible, only a few that were in good condition. Fairways weren’t much better. I’m glad I got the discount through golf now because this course isn’t worth paying full price with the condition it’s in. Yes it is challenging with narrow fairways and rolling greens. You better have your game dialed in. Just wasn’t pleased with course conditions although I will probably play again someday if I can get another good deal, but not in a hurry.

I really didn't want to bash this place but I feel like I need to be honest. I've played here from time to time since 2006. It's hard to see this course in the worst shape I've seen it, ever. I don't know why a private community with multi-million dollar homes can't keep a course in great condition. As you pull up to the clubhouse, all the shrubs and landscaping was over grown. The clubhouse and pavers need pressure washing. They had a line of carts to choose from and most of them had holes in the seats and no sand in the containers to fill divots. Most tee boxes and greens had really bad dead patches. It looked like the tee markers haven't been moved in days so we were teeing off on dead patches and divots. Fairways were ok. I took a picture to post but it won't let me upload it for some reason. We've had a lot of rain lately so a few holes were cart path only which is fine but even walking into the fairway you would sink into the ground and completely ruin your golf shoes. Serious drainage issues on this course. Some of the bunkers were full of water. There are some trees on the course that have been up-rooted and fallen down from storms and they have just left them there. I wouldn't pay more than $20-25 to play this course. In the condition it's in, I wouldn't recommend this course to a friend. I don't know if it's poor management or not enough funds being provided for the golf course but this was sad.

A few of the holes are absolutely brutal including the long par 4 second where you have to be on the left side of the fairway to have any shot at the green and a 200+ yard par where a draw around overhanging trees is an absolute must. Some others were relatively easy.

Course conditions weren't terrible. Generally good lies in the fairways. Greens were slow, but only a couple were patchy. Traps have suffered from recent rains but were better than many local courses. Rough was brutal because of the long grass. Lost a few balls. Found a few others while searching.

Played late morning on a weekday and had no one in front of us the entire round. Not the best course in the area, but given the decent conditions, fast pace, and price, I'll be back.
