About
Wentworth Golf Club is routed through a scenic and varied landscape of woods and wetlands. At 6,459 yards, the golf course is relatively short but it offers a demanding, target-style layout. The course has narrow fairways and small greens that run fast. The front nine is routed through towering stands of cypress trees, pines, and mature oaks while the back nine has a more links-style layout that will test your shot-making skills. Water hazards come into play on several holes but the far more prominent features of the course are the massive bunkers that lurk beside the fairways and greens, ready to swallow even slightly errant shots. Careful strategy is required throughout the course in order to avoid losing balls. In addition to the challenging layout, Wentworth G.C. boasts superb conditions that are considered some of the area's best.

Frustrating
Play was unacceptably slow. I come to Florida to play golf. Play was so slow that I quit after only 9 holes. Having three groups waiting to tee off is horrible course management. But you got my money so I’m guessing you don’t really care.
Tight and poor conditions
Small and tight course which is fine but conditions so bad hard to keep ball in play. Short enough to score well but bad shape

Unbelievably slow
They have decided not to use starters anymore so you end up with a lot of twosomes. Couple that with the parade of the fossils and you're looking at a 5-hour plus day. Just got to wait for the tourist to go home again. It's too bad cuz I like the course.

Good Time
The course needs a marshal to move the pace along
He wasn’t seen too much
Very slow play on the first 9
The first nine was a bit dry
The greens were good though
We have played there many times before when we were in Florida, glad to be back to enjoy the golfing

Great Afternoon Deal
Seriously $25 for a nice course, except hole 2 it’s a killer! Lol! Overall great shape for winter fairways sparse in spots, but it is winter firm and fast!

The course was well manicured and cared for. It is a narrow course but a delight to play. I would recommend playing. The staff was friendly and helpful

Use to be better
The course was in bad shape. Small tee boxes and minimal grass even on fairways. Lots of weeds. Greens were in OK shape.

Toughest layout in the area
Wentworth has to be one of the toughest course layouts in the area. The conditions weren’t pristine, but the course is always a fun challenge. Greens were in terrific shape. Around the greens were tough due to tight lies and soft from rain. Fairways need to be over seeded.
