About
Wentworth Golf Club is routed through a scenic and varied landscape of woods and wetlands. At 6,459 yards, the golf course is relatively short but it offers a demanding, target-style layout. The course has narrow fairways and small greens that run fast. The front nine is routed through towering stands of cypress trees, pines, and mature oaks while the back nine has a more links-style layout that will test your shot-making skills. Water hazards come into play on several holes but the far more prominent features of the course are the massive bunkers that lurk beside the fairways and greens, ready to swallow even slightly errant shots. Careful strategy is required throughout the course in order to avoid losing balls. In addition to the challenging layout, Wentworth G.C. boasts superb conditions that are considered some of the area's best.

Disappointed
The layout of the course is very good- quite good but playing conditions were terrible. Rough areas...... bunkers not maintained at all. Tee grounds were awful. Too bad course could be outstanding..... but not under current management.

Good and bad qualities
Worst of all was pace of play and this happens every time we play here and this may be the last time. There is no on course ranger to keep the pace of play on track. Today an older foursome was over the top slow and had then entire front nine backed up, they were almost 2 holes behind the group in front of them.
Still have some tee boxes in terrible shape and some fairways lack sufficient grass.
Practice areas are good, course layout challenging.
Best thing about this place is the staff-excellent.

Needs work
Greens are nice.. Fairways are mot so good.. Needs grass.. Not satisfied.

LOTSA OF BALLS
A LOT OF SAND AND WATER, ,FOR ME IT WAS A DOIFFICULT COURSE, NOT SURE IF I WOULD PLAY A LOT. I SHOOT AROUND 105 AND DIDNT COME CLOSE TO THAT.

Wentworth review
Course conditions: Tee boxes, fairways, and bunkers need a ton of work. Greens were decent. Pace of play was slow, we left after 9 holes. Course layout is challenging, would help to know the course.

Course is in good condition pace of play is terrible but that is on every course now, so is to be spected.
