Wentworth Golf Club is routed through a scenic and varied landscape of woods and wetlands. At 6,459 yards, the golf course is relatively short but it offers a demanding, target-style layout. The course has narrow fairways and small greens that run fast. The front nine is routed through towering stands of cypress trees, pines, and mature oaks while the back nine has a more links-style layout that will test your shot-making skills. Water hazards come into play on several holes but the far more prominent features of the course are the massive bunkers that lurk beside the fairways and greens, ready to swallow even slightly errant shots. Careful strategy is required throughout the course in order to avoid losing balls. In addition to the challenging layout, Wentworth G.C. boasts superb conditions that are considered some of the area's best.

One of the worst golf courses I have ever played, and I've played perhap 100 through out the country.

You would have to pay me to go back to that dump, I feel sorry for the residence of this semi-private golf course comunity.

Tight course can be tough

I have played Wentworth several times in the past. It has a tight layout where you can hit out abounds on several holes. Some holes are fairly easy while others are very difficult.

The only complaint is course conditions. The fairways have some thin spots in several places. The greens are not in great shape. The ball bounces and rolls slower than I like. They weren’t terrible but not great either. But it’s a good value for the money and worth playing.

Shocking

Love playing golf here and their pub food is very good

Staff friendliness are awesome great service

Only one thing that was SHOCKING a wedding party of100 people was going to take place at 6 o’clock

We could not believe this was approved in taking place with everyone’s health at risk

It saddens me that so many people still don’t take this situation seriously

The management of this golf course is very responsible in letting this go on

Very rough shape

Rock hard and sparse fairways. Bunkers are filled with clay, rocks, shells and weeds. Greens have dead patches and mark everywhere.

YOU CHARGED ME

I was unable to play because it was car path only due to the weather and I was going to play with someone who cannot walk much so I cancelled. However, GOLFNOW still charged me the full rate. This is ridiculous. I will never use GOLFNOW AGAIN.

It could be better

The layout of the front 9 is good but the fairways were bare and no grass in the rough, the bunkers need a lot of work and the greens were bumpy and slow. I had to play the front 9 twice due to golf league teeing off the back 9. I may play it again in the spring.

Used to play this course a lot. Challenging beautiful layout however the greens are bumpy untrue terrible, fairways bare. A true gem that has lost its brilliance!
