About
Opened in 1922, Temple Terrace Golf & Country Club is one of the oldest courses in the Tampa Bay area. In fact, it's the only 18-hole golf course in Florida that's listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It's the centerpiece of the Temple Terrace community and it's much loved by locals. At 6,443 yards from the back tees, the golf course is short by modern standards but what it lacks in length it makes up for in other challenges. The layout has a traditional design with small greens and tree-lined fairways that demand accuracy. Several strategically positioned bunkers also come into play along the greens. There are some tight spots and a fair amount of tricky holes, but overall Temple Terrace is player friendly enough for all skill levels.

Great course and staff!
Fairways were in great condition and surprisingly dry with the all the rain. Shoutout to Jeff the cart guy, he was professional and helped us out!
Old Florida course
This course is old school Florida golf course. A little narrow and small greens. I appreciate the layout. Have fun
Worth a play, Ok price
Course is worth a play. Not crazy difficult layout but would definitely score lower the second time around. Bunkers need help but the Fairways/Greens/Tee box’s are all decent. Greens in good shape for the summer.
Summer delight
I play a lot around Tampa and these greens are in the best shape for the area right now. It’s a very short track but the fairways and greens are in fantastic shape for the middle of summer. Will definitely go back.
Conditions were ok. Some weeds. Not a great value for the $70. If you don’t hit the fairway good luck finding your ball. Better courses around for the money.
Had a good time
My friend and I played 18 holes. Had a great time once the rain stopped. I think because it keeps raining the grass was a little taller than it usually is there. Course itself is perfect for a beginner, nothing too narrow. Greens were a little fast but that might be just personal preference. At the end Jeff the cart guy came over and greeted us. He offered to clean our clubs and made sure we didn’t leave anything behind. He was awesome, we’ll definitely be back sometime.

course was in great shape if you stayed in fairway but sides need mowing as grass was too high and could lose a ball easy

The course designer is the same as Medinah (Tom Bendelow) and wow did he make a course that has withstood time. What an amazing course. The only thing that needs some work is the rough is a bit spotty in some areas. Greens were amazing course layout beyond amazing!

Great course well maintained
Course has great drainage and is in excellent condition. Very cool setting inside of a residential area.
