Fantastic course tough greens great test of your game
Great spot, hard to get a tee time though
Nice course, simple and well kept parkland course. Pace of play was extremely slow however, but I put that down to a seniors competition on that weekend so I think a lot of practice was going on before the weekend (so i gathered from chit chat). However, no one would allow us (a 2 ball in a buggy) to play through 4-ball on foot.
Weather was immaculate so we did not complain too much and went to the clubhouse for a beer after so all was good :-)
Will play again (but I'll insist on playing through if slow play in front this time).
Unbelievable Course
This is the first time I played Newlands and I will be back soon. The holes could be marked out better if it is ur first time playing but apart from that everything about the course was top class. Couldn't recommend and rate higher.
Playing golf on a building site
Golf course is great condition. Pro shop staff may as well not be there. I understand to keep a course in good condition maintenance has to be preformed however to have a tractor blowing the fairways for every shot you hit through 10 holes whereby it is in your line when teeing and then is 5 yards behind you when hitting your second shot with a loud constant noise became impossible. Driver of tractor I presume doesn't play golf. When I rang pro shop the lad said he did not know what he should do . Would not play again which is a shame as the course was nice

company was great.weather was great.course was very good.greens had just been spiked and sanded so as a result they were brutal.
Nice course
This is unexpectedly good value. We use to play in France where greens aren't so well defended.
Brilliant coarse
Great condition . Could be more signs to next tee other than that great day had by all.
