Great Outdoors RV & Golf Resort

We teed off at 11:45 am and the sun was shining brightly. The temperatures were perfect for golf. We had a foursome in front of us that moved along quite well, with very little wait time. Our round was thoroughly enjoyed, as the course is in wonderful shape for winter. The greens were running true, but, needed a good read to sink the putts. The overall condition of the fairways was good and the tee blocks were good, too. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Don't miss this course to play and don't forget to check their pro shop. Many things on sale and a good selection for both men and women. We will play here again...no doubt about it.

Booked with GolfNow with no issues. We showed up well before our tee times and were told we would be next behind a foursome. As we were waiting in line, the starter told us that we could move in front of the foursome as they were waiting for another group of 3 to join them. After our group of three hit our first balls well down the fairway, the starter comes racing towards us in his cart notifying us that now we have to move to the side and let this group of 7 players play through. It made no sense as we would have easily stayed well ahead of them. This group of 7 all came through with not one single of them thanking us ( they were all a group of old cranky residents who obviously had e.d. Issues). 40 minutes to play the first hole is not acceptable. It is clear that in this course, residents take priority over GolfNow players. This was our first and last time on this course. Don’t waste your time or money here.

This RV RESORT course is a secret. Most locals play other places and pay much more this time of year! Fairways, T boxes, and greens are all in outstanding condition

We played here for the last 20 yrs but this year the course I’s awesome. My wife is a golf course superintendent in Canada was in awe. The greens were quick and rolled true even after verticutting and top dressing. Keep up the great work

Usually enjoy this course, but when we got to ourselves today, they has a sign on door that they just needle punched the greens. That upsets me because they should discount the fees when they do this. All the greens had a.lot of loose sand and grass and they greens were very bumpy. They could have at least blown the greens after doing this. Other than that, I typically enjoy this course but not today.

Thought this was a private course until I saw it on GN. Tee boxes need some help but the fairways and greens were in real good shape. 4 hr 4some round.

Grab a burger at the restaurant, best around by far.

The greens are great , staff is great, fairways great!! As good as courses that cost much more!! Golf now deals make it even better

Cart paths only which slows play. Maybe put some bottles of sand by the tee ball landing areas opposite the cart paths. Carrying many clubs, range finder, etc is a lot and add carrying a sand scooper makes it a mess. Lots of unfilled divots. Maybe put the pins in higher areas of greens. Feet marks around the hole on a wet green are not too fun.. Good staff.

Played this course many times. The starters need to start groups at assigned tee times not before. The course crowds up even when not all that busy. Not because of slow golfing but because the starters just randomly start groups right on top of each other.

More than once I ve been delayed start because early arrivals are allowed to start despite my being on time.

The course has been there for 30 years. It’s a well kept course in the middle of a community filled with homes and RV’s. The course is challenging with lots of water and beautiful palm tree lined fairways.

Tees, fairways, and greens in excellent shape.

Despite being booked up (due to excellent weather) we were able to start on time and finished in 4 hours.

This course trails through a RV community. Sometimes the structures are near the course but mostly it’s bounded by nature. Scattered fairway bunkers and very few bunkers near greens.

Matched up with three other nice players. Staff friendly and great bar and restaurant at clubhouse.

.The staff was excellent!Started the round ahead of tee time.As soon as we were ready the tee box was open.Many tees to choose from.Played from the gold tees and was a fair challenge.My wife played the reds.Pace was good.Fairways wide and lush never had a poor lie in play. Good deal of hazards to negotiate, fair but challenging.Lot of water both drinking and negotiating.Sand traps were wet as the heavy rains the day before.The greens were soft and received the ball well .However they were fast and true. The course won the battle for today but we will regroup and do battle again. Fun!Fun!Fun! Didn't have time for dinner but the aromas were very inviting.Will make time to eat the next time we play the course.

This golf course is a hidden gem. The Pro Shop Staff, Clubhouse, Restaurant and Bar and everyone we encountered were excellent at their jobs. Everyone is friendly and accommodating including the other golfers. The greens are better than Waldorf Astoria and Hawks Landing which I have played this month. There are some tricky holes that aren't that long, but their are long holes that are plenty challenging for long hitters too. Great Mix of gettable birdies and tough par holes. Don't expect to Grip it and Rip it if you want to score, don't expect the Pro Shop to have a PGA tour store inside, but do expect a beautiful Golf Course with views and wildlife that are fun and friendly.

This course is in great shape. A lot work has been put into it since coming under new ownership. The greens are beautiful and quick. I hope they don't slow them down for the seasonal players! So many upgrades to the course, you won't be disappointed.

Played this course with a friend and the course is in good shape. It had rained a lot so it was cart path only,

Which made it a little slow. My only complaint is there was a foursome of ladies that had the course backed up on the back nine. Golf courses need to improve on this somehow.

Greens were great.
