La Cita
I enjoyed the day at La Cita Country club. The course is investing in the improvement of fairways and greens. The tees were beautiful. After the round, I enjoyed time with friends in the upscale grill. The food was top rate.

Wow
It was once a magnificent golf course. The layout is still there, the greens and tees were good enough, and this old track is tough. Beautiful trees and more elevations than most Florida real estate. I will be back.

thin fairways
We like the course for its proximity and layout. But they really need to do something to get this course back into shape! There isn't a fairway giving you grass to hit your shots once off the tee. Staff is extremely friendly.

What a layout
What a layoutI! I heard about this golf once private course from another player a couple of weeks ago. He described it very accurately, incredible layout and extremely difficult but not in the best shape. It was well worth the trip. I will go back and play it again certainly one of the most difficult most beautiful golf courses I’ve played in the area. If this course were brought back condition wise I suspect I’d never be able to get on it, it’s really something. Magnificent old mature live oaks and other large trees draped in Spanish moss water everywhere difficult greens to approach protected by bunkers and water certainly some course knowledge would help but I don’t think it would ever be an easy course to play, but I like tough golf courses. The greens held and putted very well and the tees were above average, just need some fairway work and some cleanup etc.

Tough shape
Nice layout but fairways are thin at best. Rough is non- existent. Greens roll ok but some have patches of crabgrass and sand.

Thin Fairways
I know I'm no pro, but I'd like to give myself a chance. It's hard to do that when the fairways are so thin. Give me some grass to hit off.

Ehhh
The layout was very challenging but corse KC ditikns were not the best. Fairways were just ok and bunkers were just ok as well. The rough was well was just that rough. But for a Sunday morning $45 you can’t complain.

La Cita is always a fun and relaxing place to play!
My wife loves to play at La Cita and the Thursday tee box settings made it a competitive round with a 1,400 yd difference between the White and Red tees over 18 holes.

Bring Your A Game!
The course is very challenging and it is fun. The conditions are about 3 1/2 stars. The greens are good but just a tad slower than I like. The fairways and rough were pretty good for the most part. The bunkers were not as bad as some reviews said, they were groomed nicely. Some could use a little more sand but very playable. The tee boxes were a little thin. Still some wet spots on some fairways, but not enough to complain about. The course itself offers a challenging array of forced carriers, doglegs, water hazards, elevated greens and a mix of long, medium and short hold. For the price it is a good value.

La Cita course
overall very playable a couple greens and fairways have some scary spots. Tee boxes and bunkers are really where the course needs some work but the staff was awesome, ranger checked on pace and even was taking care of divots while driving around.

Nice course for cheap
Good course for less than $25. Carts nice. Greens ok. Fairways good. Tee boxes a little sparse and lots of weeds. Traps really bad. Like concrete. Just stay out. Staff very nice. Good range. Nice layout and good course for people who don’t drive the ball far, red tees give a pretty good advantage on most holes.
