Rough needed to be cut. I didn’t expect US open rough height on a public course

Great staff, great views, few holes where across the road could probably have a better sign. Got be hind a slower group made for longer day. Course was in pretty good shape. Will definitely be back!

This course has some awesome bones. It has a very old school Florida style feel to the course. You can tell back in the day this was the place to be. Unfortunately it’s not that today. It’s not bad for $20-30 but I wouldn’t pay more then that. Greens were really the only decent thing about the course. On the slower side but they run true. Very tight tee shots. Back 9 is a lot nicer then the front. I think hole 15-16 were my favorites if I remember correctly. The back 2 tee boxes aren’t in use anymore so the course only plays 6000 yards not 6600. Tee boxes can definitely use some TLC. I’d try it again in the winter to see if it’s any better. Guy in the pro shop was very friendly. Gave me a nice run down of the course before I played it. Decent amount of blind shots out there. I recommend going on a slow day so you can ride up the fairways to see where you need to put the ball.

I played here a few years ago with my golf buddies. Then we were in love with the layout but conditions were far from acceptable and hadn't returned. In reading reviews decided to try it again as I had said before a great layout. We were very surprised and thankful as they have really started to do things on the course, mainly grass in fairways and on the greens. Not perfect but very playable. Rough is "rough" and watch your ball if it goes in it or you may not find it quickly. Tees need more work but better than before. Greens very nice rolling, some weeds but looks like they are attending to them. Well worth trying again if this was the reason you have stayed away. I'll play here again and soon.

Course is looking good it's improved every visit for a good while I can't wait to try at it again..Great track!

It was cart path only on the day I played due to heavy rains the day/evening before. Many bunkers were filled with water as the course had not dried out yet. Course has lots of doglegs, some elevation changes, and shots over water to add a challenge making it a fun layout. Conditions have been improving over time. Staff has always been friendly and accommodating.

This was a great price for a great course, everything made for the perfect day of golf.

old Florida type course, built around natural settings, some fairways a little rough...

Had a fun round of golf with my wife at La Cita. The grounds crew appears to be working tirelessly to restore this classic course.

10 years ago I would have recommended this course to just about anyone. Today with the lack of attention to all aspects of playable conditions, I'd say no way. Greens were about 30 percent bald. Almost deasesed. Tee boxes were mostly sand. Just wasn't much good to say about the course.

The course was in poor condition. Lots of bare spots on the fairways.

Had a fun time at La Cita and appreciate the work being done by the staff!

Nice track but far too many bare spots and greens are in rough shape and very slow. With a little love, it would be worth it!!
