Are the traps thin- yes

Can you get past your hang-ups for playing a perfect course in Florida in December to understand Bermuda is not growing and this course layout has stood the test of time??? I hope so....

This is a classic old-school Florida course winding through majestic Spanish oaks and the homes and condos lining the holes are close like an uncle leading down the fairway... as you play, you can see yourself playing here into your 80’s and enjoying a community of golfers.

Now, if you up on your LOW-T medication and approach this course with reckless decisions of “I’M GONNA HIT DRIVER EVERY HOLE FROM THE TIPS DUDE....” please play elsewhere... this is a shot-makers course with layups, good decisions and a thoughtful mind required.

Once the course helps you with proper lines achieved and scores go low, stop by the grill located at the top of the clubhouse. We enjoyed the seats at the bar and chatting with the attentive staff.

I started out checking if I took my meds and ended really respecting this track. I hope you can secure the financing that will return it to its forner glory and properly display this hidden gem.

The approaches to the greens need more grass. They were either muddy or very tight lies. A reseeding around them would be very nice and make them much more playable.

I have played this course several times before and have always enjoyed it. It is challenging, the staff have always been helpful, the fairways and greens have always been in good condition, and I considered it one of the prettier courses in the area. I was shocked to see how bad the course is now. The fairways had numerous bare spots, and most of the greens had bare spots and sand. I was very disappointed because in the past this has been one of the better courses to play in this area. With all the rain we have been having, other courses in this area have lush fairways and greens, so I am not sure what is happening for La Cita to be in such bad shape. Will not be back until they get the course back into the great conditions it was once in.

Terrible fairways, crappy bunkers, dirt approach aprons. Never go back. I live in Melbourne FL, and will drive to Indian River county before I come here again.

I will never go to this facility again. Drove from Melbourne. Never again! Dirt fairways. Debris everywhere.

Course could use some much needed maintiance. Poor drainage with many very wet areas with grass 12 inches high. Cart paths are in dire need of repair. Overall its a fair deal for 12.00 would not pay more.

The greens were freshly aerated And not even sanded. Who aerates in the fall??? So you could not putt!!! I’m mad at myself, as I should have called and asked about the condition of the course. Won’t make tHat mistake again!

We made the best of it though.., because all the locals must have known about the horrible conditions of the course. So we had the place to ourselves.

It's a different course because of elevation changes and very enjoyable.

Ryan and Billyin the pro shop are always great during these trying times. Course has filled in nicely and greens are fast

This poor old course needs attention and I'm not sure the new owner has the resources to maintain it in this crazy Covid environment.
