Getting better and better!

Our group plays La Cita about twice a month. With the land elevation changes and interesting layout this is much better than the "traditional" Florida course! Conditions are constantly improving and the staff works hard to make you feel welcomed. Due to another local course closing we will be playing LaCita three times a month now!

What happened to this course

To many negative things about course. It will be a long time before playing again. My advice to other golfers stay away for now!

Another nice golf round

We had fun. We love the layout. It's tougher then most but that's what I look for I will play it often as I can...Being surrounded by old oaks all day is a nice comfortable day even when it's hot.

Course coming along

I had read reviews a. couple years ago and they weren’t good. Recently, I guess they have a new superintendent and the course is improving. The course has lots of character with some actual hills and elevated greens, unusual for Florida.

Some tee boxes were a bit bare, fairways were average and the greens look like they are coming along , although they did need cutting that day.

Overall, I’m looking forward to playing it again, now that I know the course. Also as season comes, I’m sure the I pro will continue.

Great day!

Played this course with 3 friends and had a great day. This course is very challenging with narrow fairways, several doglegs and lots of water. There were some dry patches on the fairways, tee boxes and greens, but all in all this course was in great shape. I will definitely be back.

Great layout!

Played this course for the first time today. Absolutely loved the layout. Doglegs left and right, tight holes, wide open holes, holes with forced carries, uphill and downhill shots. Not your typical boring layout. Course wasn’t in perfect shape, but the awesome layout made up for it. Would definitely play again!
