La Cita Country Club

Very enjoyable round at this course. Conditions were great, a lot of improvements made and it shows. Course layout is excellent. Some elevation change on many of the holes makes for a pleasurable round Will be back !!!!!!!!

The golfing was great but the choices for the lunch that was included wasn't the best.

Great place to play This is my first time here Very challenging. Greens were very nice. And the fairways too.

New ownership has made significant improvements to the clubhouse, but the golf course has been ignored. La cita which was once a challenging tight well conditioned golf course, is now very very tired. Turf conditions are horrendous, greens are tiny, crowned and unreceptive and I would shocked if they even own a roller, bunkers inconsistent, tees all need to be rebuilt, cart paths and bulkheads a mess. Stay away

worse golf experience ever! place is under construction, staff is unresponsive at best, and the place is run down. the greens are terrible and rough. the rough is way over grown and the fairways are underkept. no soda machines or drink carts at all. I got chased off the course for missing a cart path !!! the cart paths are in terrible disrepair and broken up, and I'm not bouncing all over the place and getting splashed, so instead I get kicked off the course!!! incredibly rude and I will never be coming back!!

played last year and course was in rough shape, what an improvement. tee boxes and greens good and fairways much better. will play again.

Had an eleven o'clock tee time and wanted to grab something to eat but the restaurant was closed. After the round which ended around 2:45 went to their locker room for a quick shower and they had no hot water. Went back to the restaurant for a bite to eat and was told by a staff member that they just closed. Front nine looked half way decent but the back nine needs work. Nice course layout. Don't think I'll return or recommend. The guys in the pro shop were very courteous.

This course was built in 1982 and is mature. It has a stately clubhouse.and is surrounded by upscale homes . However, it appears maintenance has been minimal. Cart paths are broken throughout and fairways sprout weeds. This is not your typical Florida layout. Very challenging from any tee box. Multiple hazards . An accurate player gets rewarded here. Make mistakes and you are in for high numbers. Hope to see better conditions in the fall. Pro shop had bottled beverages but I did not see a snack bar .

The tee boxes are ok for most and the fairway is fair also. except a few holes with some bare spots due to drought in the area. The green are very small and crown for most of them but putting are very fast and true. I think over all it can be a 3 and 1/2 stars. Definitely It needs some maintenance and upgrade to bring it back to live as a country club environment.

The last time the played this course, 20 yrs ago, it was private. It appears it fell onto hard times due to the economy of Titusville. Also I think even the new members are in their 80s.

If you get a chance, this course is really a gem. It requires you to hit shots. If your a big hitter (>250) play the tips. When brevard county starts to get some rain this course will be just fine. Besides the old oaks, it has elevation changes not seen at the newer courses in the viera area.

For $18-20 with range balls this is a steal.

La Cita is a nice, challenging course with good fairways and fast greens. Will definitely play it again.

Excellent layout, greens are in good shape. Very friendly staff. Also get a bag of range balls included in the price.

Wonderful layout, not your typical FL golf course. This is a gem that fell on to hard times, but is coming back. The front nine was in better shape. This is a work in progress and once it has a chance to recover it will be great. I'll go back towards the fall in hopes that the magic has progressed.

The course is undergoing vast improvements and I expect by the early fall the course will be in great shape, greens will be full, firm fast with no fungus areas or unwanted grass with edges cut for definition, all tee boxes will be lush with grass, fairways will be lush and no weeds to be found, the rough will be up a bit and lush, the bunkers will have great sand and tough to play out of, the cart paths will be smooth and all the bulkheads around the course will be repaired.

For every golfer that has a handicap of 15 or more, play the GREEN tees and have a lot more fun on this course....
