La Cita Country Club

The greens were very fast! Fairways were wet in some spots and tee boxes needed some work. I’m sure this was due to the time of year.

The two Nines were quite different. The back nine was in much better shape. And the holes themselves were more interesting. Lots of doglegs on the course which we liked. Quite a bit of water with some tough approach shots. The grass was pretty sparse over most of the course but just roll it a few inches and it was ok. The tee boxes were in beautiful condition. They were a 5 star but the rest of the course brought down our rating. The greens were pretty fast and we felt they putted true. Just improve the conditions and this course could be top notch. Cart girl was available throughout to secure some beers. And $39 at high season on a Saturday. Fantastic.

Great course and friendly staff. Tee boxes and fairways are in great shape. The greens were a little rough as they were freshly air rated but you could tell they are gonna be good in a few weeks. Will definitely be back love the course layout.

This course is in poor shape, greens are dried out, lots of bare sand, fairways are bare and covered in leaves. The only areas that has grass growing is the tee boxes.

The course is not very long, holes are challenging, greens are elevated and crowned, unless you hit shots with spin very hard to stay on these greens.

I could be much better.

Second time playing La Cita CC and my opinion is about the same as before. The course layout is fun and challenging to play with plenty of hazards (water and sand) to keep it interesting. The Bermuda grass fairways are suffering and in need of some loving care and recuperation. The tee areas and greens are very suitable for this time of year. Some of the concrete cart paths are broken up so just drive slowly over those spots. The staff is friendly and helpful. I took a few photos this time around.

Reserved a GN hot deal at 11am, got off our cruise ship and cleaned custom early and arrived the course at 9:30am. The pro shop staff was kindly offered to send us out immediately as the one who reserved the tee time not yet arrived. We finished the round in 3.5 hours and checked in our Orlando hotel early. Very good tee boxes with decent greens, thin fairways plus nice layouts. Good value for the money.

Played the course a couple of times with friends in the area. Honestly can't recommend the place. It is definitely in the worst shape of any of the seven courses played this Winter. The greens are terrible. The tee boxes are bare and uneven. One fairway was closed for repair. Pace of play was very slow and groups bunched up making for a longer round. Disappointing. Won't be playing there soon.

Challenging course in a comfortable community setting. My wife always says Yes.. when asked if she wants to play at La Cita!

I found La Cita CC challenging and fun to play. There were plenty of hazards to avoid. The greens had recently been aerated so putting was just a little bumpy. Fairways were ok but I had to lift and clean dirt from the ball quite often. Maybe some recent heavy rain. Tee boxes had new grass coverage and looked great. Old concrete cart paths show their age due to settling and tree roots. I recommend this course and will play here again soon.

Enjoyed the round at Lacita. Lots of improvements made to the course over the last few years. Staff always friendly. Greens were rolling fast.

This is a fairly decent course. The course has a great layout with some very scenic areas and a fair amount of water. The pace of play is excellent. The staff is friendly, courteous and helpful. The greens are in good shape and quite fast. The fairways are dry with bare spots here and there. Overall the course is enjoyable and offered good value for money and we will play it again especially on Goldnow hot deal.

La Cita is a tired country club, with a fun and challenging course. Money needs to be put into it. I bet in its heyday, it was great.
