La Cita Country Club

As my title says it’s an excellent track. Holes are interesting and provide many different challenges to your game. Just the right amount of sand and water to keep you fully engaged. An old time Florida course. That being said, there is Amole room for improvement. The hole cuts themselves are ragged and torn up. Not sure how often they cut new holes but it was very bad. The fairways were aerated and of course plugs were everywhere but that is to be expected. The overall conditions I give a 3.5 on a 10 scale. Some greens were good others were dirt. Some tee boxes were good. Others were dirt. Overall the course needs millions to fix but it Could be a Brilliant place to play if fixed up as the bones of the course are outstanding. Was very cheap therefore worth it but it makes a true golfer said when he sees such potential ignored.

Very good value. A great layout,if this course was in Orlando,and slightly better maintained it would be $100 a round.

This is a very nice layout in horrible condition. It's a shame that it has been allowed to get in this shape.

Course is rounding into shape as hard work is paying off.

Great layout, tight, needs irrigation or rain, needs tree limbs cut. Such beautiful potential, needs an influx of cash and management.

Played this course with friends in the area three times. Overall it ranks as the worst course of the seven we've played. Very tired old course that must have been decent at one time. Needs a ton of love and maintenance. greens were terrible. No grass on the fairways or tee boxes. Even the Guys in the pro shop seemed like they didn't want to be there. Wouldn't go back there again if you paid me.

if you want perfect fairways and raked bunkers go to orlando and pay $100 for a round.if you can ignore a few small imperfections this is a great course for a bargain price.

Hot deal price was great. Course in decent shape for the time of year. Some tough holes with sand making shots into greens difficult.

Overall conditions were quite poor. Fairways sparse of grass with lots of sandfilled bare spots. Greens weren't much different with similar sandfilled bare spots. Teeboxes were generally ok. Only reason I played here was the greensfee through GOLFNOW was $18. Would not pay more than $20 to play. Beats going to the driving range.
