Would go again
Course was very wet in places but very much playable considering how much rain we recently had.
The courseis fairly simple but that's great if you want space! It's was perfect for my game which is faiy inconsistent. The fairways were more like semi rough but it is still winter so would like to see what they are like come summer. The greens were fairly good condition and quicker than expected.
The were terrible! Overgrown and rock solid. Could be looked after regardless of whether it is winter or not.

Blocked our GolfNow purchase
We went to the course and the lady told us if we wanted the golf now (not hot deal) price we’d have to book it via golf now. As we went to book the 3 ball it “disappeared” she also told us it was technically a bank holiday so it should be allowed anyway. We eventually book a 2 ball via golf now and had to pay full price for the 3rd. The course we very wet and there was grass growing out of most of the bunkers. 50% over priced IMO. Not much money going back into the course from the loom of it.

The course was in good condition for this time of year and playing off tee boxes is a bonus but the leaves are a problem on some holes

The course is looking great with the all the trees that have grown so much
Course is in brilliant condition has been for the last year or so need to keep it this way can’t afford to let the standards drop when the weather changes

Lovely course
Rathbane is a lovely course, well maintained with long par 5's and nice tricky par 3's, the greens are excellent too
