Tell you what
Tell you what this course is real good. Me, two friends and this guy named Mike went down there teed it and everything was tour caliber. Even the nice red headed fella with earrings we met at the turn. He is a lot cooler than Mike. Long story short me and my partner set them last couple holes ablaze to steal a 30 rack of stones from the other two. Shoulda seen it for yourself. Mike was in tears on the 18th green but I done told him that's what you get when you ain't no good. So it goes...
Great in February!!
For playing golf in Febuary the course was in excellent condition. We had never played there before but are sooo looking forward to coming back in the spring or summer. Layout is great, but was not expecting #18!
Great place!
Really enjoyed everything about this course! A lot of picturesque holes and plenty of risk/reward decisions. Fairly long course so it's a really fun challenge!
Good course for all levels
This is a great value course. The conditions were excellent, greens rolled very well. All around good setup that will satisfy intermediate players all the way up to scratch players. Good pace throughout round, it's a little bit of a drive from Louisville so this course will always play fast, never over crowded or slow.
If you're looking for a proper course & experience for under $50 (online deal) then look no further.
Very nice course.
This is the first time I've played this course. It did not disappoint. Great challenging layout with fairway bunkers that must be taken into consideration off the tee. I will definitely return.
We're happy to have given you a bit of a challenge! Thanks for the 5 star review! Looking forward to seeing you next time.
Fuzzy's TPC
Playing Fuzzy Zoeller's Champions Pointe is just like playing a TPC club. The tees, fairways & greens were plush and the distance and layout was challenging.
Great picture, thanks for sharing! We're glad you enjoyed our course. Hope to see you again soon!
Challenging course that makes you think
Champions Pointe provided a challenging yet fun golf experience. We played from the white tees which is only 6450 yards long, but the thing I like most about this course is on par fours and par-fives you really have to think about hitting less than driver off of the tee as many of the holes provide risk reward. There are also plenty of Hazards that come into play off of the tee which makes it very interesting. The greens role nicely and the bunkers were great. The carts have a really nice GPS tablet which really helped with your strategy of play on each hole. All around great course I left wanting to play more.
Thank you for your review! We are glad you enjoyed our course enough where we had you wanting more! Please come back and play another round with us soon.
Really good test, but very playable
This course can play as hard as you want just by choosing the tees. Play it from the back, and it'll be pretty difficult. Play it up a little and you've got a real enjoyable test, although a few holes will be difficult no matter what. A great example comes on the 18th, where the second shot to the green will be a long approach over water, no matter what. But what I love about this hole is that there are options for those players who don't think they can hit that shot. Right of the green is a bailout area and a considerably shorter shot from the fairway, giving players a chance to take double bogey or worse out of the equation. And if their short game is good, perhaps a par.
Hi "MikeBaileyGA" thanks for the review! We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your round. Come back and see us again soon.
Unacceptably slow
Today my round was almost 5 hours and 30 minutes long. Now, the course was wet from a lot of recent rain and was cart path only. Still this was not acceptable.
At times there were four groups on a hole. To make things worse there was a group of five immediately in front of us.
Fuzzy has two courses in southern Indiana. They are nice courses, but I can't recommend weekend play on them,, especially since they are probably the most costly
public/semi-private courses in the Louisville/southern Indiana area. None of my threesome played well. We almost left at nine holes. I wish I had.

We are so sorry for the slow pace of play. We understand that it can take away the fun from the game when it is moving slowly and we apologize for this inconvenience. We appreciate your feedback as it will help us improve in the future. Hope to see you again.
Early May round
This round was after a night with plenty of rain, so we were cart path only. The course was holding a lot of water, especially in areas of the rough.
Greens did appear that they were cut, but were really slow, maybe a 7.5 or an 8 on the stimp. These were the slowest greens I've played in about a month.
The Zoysia fairways were back to life and were a little long, again due to the rain.
The rough is around 4 inch mark right now, so if you don't hit it in the fairway, you will spend a few minutes looking for your ball. Once you find it, you can only hack it out and advance it 50 to 100 yards. We got more rain when I got home, so I don't see how they can cut the rough until next week depending on the amount of rain we get.
We are only a few warm days away from getting this course closer to summer conditions.
You can have a fun round here, although you will be paying the highest rack rate for publics in the area.

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate it as it will help us move forward and improve. We do hope you come back and play again for a future round.
Bad greens
The course has a wonderful layout that is challenging and makes you think on almost every shot. The greens on we're so bad that if you made a putt over 5 feet it was luck. Every putt would just bounce and there was no way to tell which way it would bounce. I had a putt taking a left to right break and then just kicked the other way. It made a great day very frustrating.
Hi "093378488" we aerated our greens on April 5th so when you came out and played the greens were still recovering. We do apologize that it was not made clear when you booked your tee time. Thank you for providing feedback and we hope to see you out here again soon!
Course is fun to play.
The course was fun to play but the gentlemen at the pro shop was very unfriendly and rude to people in our group for no reason.
Hi "JT4178185" thank you for taking the time to leave a review and we apologize that you did not have a pleasurable experience with one of our staff members. Worth the drive
Played Champions Pointe on Christmas Eve morning after heavy rain the previous day. Extremely wet however found the course in great shape for time of year and weather conditions.
30 minute drive from Louisville was worth it and will go back in 2016!
Any level of golfer can enjoy course
On the day I played it was beautiful day in the 60's
But it had just rained the night before and was very
wet all over the course. Other than that the greens were rolling perfit about a 11 stemp meter.
Champions Point
Went using a Golf Now hot deal. For this late in the season the course was in excellent condition. I will definitely return.
Great course
Coarse had been aerated about a week or 2 before playing greens were filling in good. If you hit off fairway it was very difficult to find ball slowed down play alot. Had to be on top of ball to find. I understand make you pay for bad shots but not killing you.
Watch your GPS on 16 and 18.
This was my first time playing at Champions Pointe (but not my last), so I didn't know what to expect. Everything was in great shape. From the tee boxes to the greens. The fairways felt like walking a carpet. Although it wasn't the most challenging course, it did have a few surprises. Love the course all around and I will surely be back to play again.
Good Test
Overall i gave the course 4 out 5. The greens were smooth but not exceptionally fast...fairways were in good shape..nice mix of holes..rough was in tough shape in a few spots...some collars and approaches burned out. But as a scratch player i did have fun and would recommend this course to others
Fun and Challenging Course!
Man...overall, I really enjoyed this course from beginning to end. There are a handful of very easy, straight forward holes that you can pad your scorecard on, but there are several holes that demand tactical, precise shots. Fairways and tees were well manicured and the greens were exceptional except on hole 17 where there are some rough, brown spots on the fringe. Aside from that, they all rolled true, lots of breaking putts. The rough around the greens was think and well manicured and the bunkers seemed ok (I only hit out of one, thank goodness). Everybody in the pro shop was friendly and helpful. I prefer this course over Fuzzy's other course (Covered Bridge) because it fits my game a little better. I will definitely be back and hopefully soon!
Awesome place.
I will be back. Really enjoyed this place. It was in great shape.
Hey "bmlama01" thank you so much for the kind words about the course. We are glad that you were happy with the pace of play as well as the value. Come see us again soon!
