Silly reasoning
Had a 106 tee time. We checked in at 1200 but we’re told we couldn’t tee off until after the 12550 group teed off. There were no groups had teed off between 12-1250 This in our opinion was totally unacceptable So to top it off they only played 9 holes crazy.
Just as good as the reviews
Read the reviews on Golf now about this course. Decided to take the trip over there. It was a little lower an hour ride aside from the extreme heat tee off at one in the afternoon. It was a great course to play conditions are excellent. Staff is very friendly. Clubhouse restaurant was good, couldn’t find anything . Will be back but going to wait till November when it cools off
Great layout, no really easy holes, it takes strategy to play correctly.
A little spendy but in great shape and a real challenge.
Awesome experience
The staff were very friendly, the course was in excellent shape. Glen in the pro shop was very accommodating. If I ever make it down to this area again I would play here in a heartbeat. Very good experience!
Excellent course
This course is a must play , conditions are superb and you won’t be disappointed. Staff friendly and accommodating.
Decent value
I would've liked to pay about $15 less than the $71 I did pay for the round. That said, the course is in pretty good condition. Greens rolled true and fairways are very playable.
No GPS on the carts (which hurts me because I don't own a laser) and not yardage markings on sprinklers.
Staff was very friendly. Starter got me off first in the morning as a single, so I was able to play my round in under 3 hours.
Only one or two memorable holes. Surprisingly, no real water comes into play on the entire course. Decent enough layout.
No real food options on site. They have a cooler fool of drinks in the pro shop with ready made sandwiches in the plastic containers at the bottom of the cooler. No free balls at the driving range. A good sized putting green.
Great round
Courses in good shape greens are nice. It’s a great time to play Glen Lakes. I would recommend this course to anybody that’s visiting the area.
Impeccable
I haven’t played Glen Lakes & it was even better than I remembered. Tee boxes were groomed perfectly. The fairways change with every hole & change on every hole. Even in the middle of a fairway u could be hitting ur next shot from a perfectly mowed bowl. It’s pleasant to the eye as much as the golf. The greens were so manicured I only had to tap my ball to get it rolling. Course was amazing & I hope not to take so long coming back again. Thank you to the staff for being so helpful
GlenLakes
Was down in the area so decided to look for a hot deal on GN. To my surprise, GlenLakes had a great deal. Having played there two years prior, I was really excited to return. Staff was very friendly, but it being 1:00p on a summer day in Florida, the course was relatively empty. I was able to squeeze in a 90min 18hole round. The conditions have declined since the last time I was here, but we have had some extremely dry weather. Overall I was pleased and would play there again.
